Beacon Country House Hotel

I booked the ground floor room for my 82 year old Dad who has limited mobility. The bedroom was really spacious with a separate seating area and tastefully decorated, the ensuite was lovely and accessible. The staff were all very helpful and friendly so even though my Dad was staying alone he felt really welcome and at home. He loved the breakfast choices and cornish tea. We came to the hotel for dinner on two evenings and were very impressed by the high quality and beautiful presentation of the food, really stunning. My Dad hadn't been away for several years and this was just the tonic he needed. Thank you again, sue x

We were made very welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided directions to the wedding venue avoiding A30. A lovely area to explore. We had a lovely stay there.

One of my favourite hotels that I have started at so far. Welcoming staff, lovely breakfast and spotless hotel. 5 minute drive away from a basically private beach. Would stay here again.

Excellent place to stay. The owners really care that you have a good time and are well looked after . The breakfast has every option possible so you will not be disappointed. A great place to stay and we will be back next year.

Unusually I had a one night stay here as St Agnes Hotel had a water leak ion the room and they arrange for me to stay here in stead. Very nice friendly hotel, that is closer to the luxury end of the spectrum. Loved the quiet country atmosphere.

Just home from a wonderful 3 night stay. A second visit for us. Lovely room, friendly staff, great breakfast and a wonderful evening meal which included a wedding proposal. Had a lovely time. Nothing is too much trouble for the team to make your stay enjoyable. They’re all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely. Rooms were spotless. Only a short walk to St Agnes (no pathways as such so just take care and not advisable to walk at night). Stunning views from the hotel. You’ll have a lovely time when you stay here.

We have just spent 2 wonderful nights at this superb family run hotel very close to St Agnes.Exceptional staff makes this hotel so very special.The facilities are excellent, its rooms very spacious and tastefully appointed.The food was of the highest standard, we had full English breakfasts each morning and the quality was superb, much of the produce is sourced locally.Highly Recommend
