Peterborough Improvements

We have just had our garage converted by the guys and they have been brilliant.Rather than waiting months for a start date they managed to start the work within a few weeks and everything was done in stages over a number of weeks - stud work, insulation, plastering, Bi-Folds etc.Jimmy and the guys were very polite with a good sense of humour and the work completed is to a very high standard.The end result is a lovely warm office that is a joy to work from.Would most certainly recommend Peterborough Improvements for any garage conversion work.

We cannot thank Peterborough Improvements enough for transforming our driveway into one which finally enhances our home.In 2017, we instructed a company from Bournemouth to install a resin drive. However, within a month a crack had appeared not to mention the weeds. The crack seriously deteriorated and the company failed to accept any responsibility.We contacted Shaun from Peterborough Improvements to give his professional opinion on the cause. It became clear that unbeknown to us, our drive had been incorrectly installed.We took legal proceedings against the company. However they went out of business on the same day notice was served on them.In February 2019 Peterborough Improvements had to rip up the entire drive and reinstall it correctly The team worked in a professional and polite manner and the finished product is one we are proud of. Thank you Peterborough Improvements.

Had a drive way gate installed in April after several week delay, which was ok and communication was good. In August sent emails to the admin and Sean Festherstone, managing director, as it was pulling away from the house and other issues, never heard back. Contacted them again in October via email and calling and haven’t heard anything. All I was asking was someone to come around have a look and secure and fix it but no response. Very disappointed as they had good reviews and was hoping to use them for other jobs we needed doing.Edit to response: the pictures asked for were sent on 2.11.22 as requested, followed up with an email on 15.11.22 with the pictures and further followed up with a phone call on the 31.11.22.My request started back at in August, whilst I’m sorry to hear about Shaun, I’m not aware the company has closed as I’ve contacted the admin by phone and email several times since August.I was told back on 2.11.22 via email that you were going to send someone around (which is signed as Shaun) but there has been no further response or follow up despite me chasing this. The only real follow up was the response to this review on 4.12.22. So other than Shaun I have no named person to deal with.Whilst I will agree about woods movement, the gate was only installed for 4 months when I first contacted you and would have been helpful to send someone around back in August when I first raised this.It’s more than dropped, the post has pulled away from the house and isn’t secure as I described in the email I sent.31.12.22 - still no updates or further communication from Peterborough Improvements23.06.23 - We gave up and had another company come in a put right the shoddy work.

Supplied and fitted a double five bar wooden gate along with pedestrian gate. The work completed was to a high standard and we are really pleased with the result. Simon and Stephen who fitted the gates were professional , hard working and did not leave a mess. The work was carried out on schedule and we were kept updated by Sean on expected timescales. We would recommend.

Shaun and the lads transformed my unsightly, cracked, uneven concrete driveway into a lovely flat beautiful drive I could be proud of. The work was excellent keeping me informed prior to starting and worked hard throughout to leave an excellent finish. Would highly recommend.

This is a fabulous company they finished of my garage conversion, which involved plastering 2 walls, extra electric sockets, and boxing in my gas/electric meter. They are clean tidy and courteous and explain everything they are doing, and don’t mind questions along the way.

Many thanks to Shaun, Darren and the whole team who have transformed our tired patio, including laying resin throughout, installing raised beds and laying summer house base. The team did a great job in challenging weather conditions.

My dad had his patio replaced with resin. It looks amazing! Shaun suggested adding glitter and this was a great addition. It really sparkles in the sun. The resin makes the space flow more and it makes the area look bigger. The job was completed quickly and we were kept up-to-date throughout.

Fantastic job from the Peterborough Improvements team! Shaun came over the day I called & a quote for the work was with me in days. Trevor & the guys arrived on time & was impressed with their attitude & speed of work from start to completion. Also all emails & questions were always replied to quickly by Georgia.
