A really excellent service. Despite already being booked with jobs, Tom and his team fitted in the repairs needed when I suddenly found myself with a leaking roof, including working on a weekend to complete the job. Professional throughout and very reassuring when I was panicking about the water coming through! Would definitely recommend this company.

Had a leaking roof, and they came the next day to assess, put in a temporary fix. Back within a week to fix 4 valleys and ensure we were leak free. The service was great - probably not the cheapest but I prefer a job done properly and reliably - so would recommend the team from Southwest Build for any roofing type work

Very professional, good communication. We just needed a small repair to our roof and it's so difficult finding builders that will take on small jobs these days. Glad we found them, will definitely use them again!

Tom replied promptly to my request, came around to look at what was required, giving an explanation of the problem, and gave a very competitive quote within hours. The job was completed very tidily and efficiently within 3 days. I was kept informed at every stage of the process, including before and after photos. He pointed out issues that may lead to problems in future, including a bodged job done years earlier quite possibly by council workers when my property was council-owned, but didn't once suggest that he could rectify the problem if I wanted him to. I won't hesitate to recommend Tom or use him again. A very pleasant person in every way; one who went above and beyond expectations.

We approached Tom Preston to do what we thought would be minor repairs as we were impressed with the work he was doing on a new house nearby. He alerted us to various problems with our 1947 unlined roof so we asked him to quote for a new one. TKP’s detailed and inclusive quote was very reasonable.The organization was seamless from scaffolders to skip hire to delivery of materials, with the work itself carried out smoothly on the dates agreed. Tom chose tiles which blended perfectly with those of the house next door. He also solved the technical problem of adjoining roofs with different heights. The result is aesthetically pleasing. (It’s snowing as I write this and we notice a significant difference in warmth.)Throughout, Tom and his team were punctual, friendly and nice to have around. Absolute recommendation!
