Dynamic Paws and Train

Sunshine and I booked a weekend assessment and trading sessions at Dynamic Paws and Train with Debbie Betts who is an incredible K9 Trainer and Behaviourist. We stayed two nights in Debbie’s Annex which is absolutely stunning and really comfortable with every possible amenity you could want or need. Debbie gave us such a warm welcome and our stay was amazing.I was under no illusion that Debbie would be training me rather than Sunshine. She has taught me to really study and understand Sunshine’s body language and mine as well. To take things at a much slower pace and most importantly to breathe in situations that make Sunshine anxious and calmly support her. Debbie has given me the confidence, guidance and tools to start our training program together with back up and future visits to Dynamic Paws and Train. It’s in the name Dynamic thank you Debbie

A great weekend with Debbie working with us and our dog Tetley, to help his reactivity. Kind and gentle support and training, giving us the skills to help Tetley make the right choices. Such an informative and productive time spent in beautiful countryside surrounded by nature. We stayed onsite at Reedside which was spot on accommodation, very clean and extremely dog friendly with everything we needed and more. Debbie was so knowledgeable of all things dog and of the local area, she couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate in going back again should we need to or just to stay in the local area.

I spent a long weekend at Dynamic Paws and Train with my reactive dog. Debbie is a very knowledgeable trainer and a great host! The accomodation is great and has everything for both humans and dogs. We did some training sessions, walks and a dynamic dog assessment. There's also a really nice guide for local walks.Definitely recommend!

Took my rescue dog here for a weekend for 1-2-1 training and assessment with Debbie, after a recommendation by two friends who know here. I wanted an intensive 1-2-1 experience for me and my dog so we could immerse ourselves in the experience and have the full attention of a trainer who could assess our interactions. My dog would not cope well in a class situation as she was a stray and is always worried about other dogs, people and things at the moment, although getting better.Debbie was absolutely brilliant, I've learned so much about my dog, how her mind works and how to manage her full bucket" moments and keep her safe and happy. Cant recommend Debbie at Paws and Train enough. We had a great few days staying at her training accommodation. Debbie is so observant and picks up on some much regarding the way you interact with your dog, the body language from the dog and then helps you to understand and progress with your training.She gave us so much useful information, training tips, games and ideas. We took both our dogs and worked with them together.The accommodation is lovely and in a beautiful part of the country, so when not on a training session there are plenty of places for walking, visiting and eating.If you need help with your dogs, to build a better bond or just to progress your training Debbie is perfect.

We (myself, husband and two fur babies) had a training weekend with Debbie about 6 weeks ago.I wanted to write a review to say what a positive and enjoyable weekend it was.Our oldest dog (2 whilst we were there) had a bad experience as a puppy and it has left her very nervous and reactive to other dogs that we see when we are out and about. They are both very loving and lovable but her reaction to other dogs is making it very stressful for her and also for us, not to mention it rubbing off on the younger one.The girls bonded to Debbie instantly and she worked with us showing us pattern games that helped to calm and engage the girls along with freework that helped to 'de stress' them. Since being home we have kept working with all the skills that Debbie taught us and it is making such a big difference with the girls. It is allowing us all to enjoy going out for trips and even being able to call in for a coffee or a sneaky drink.The accommodation was fab. It was spotlessly clean and so incredibly peaceful. We actually booked to stop for the week as we had travelled a distance to get there and decided to make it into a holiday. It was too hot to do much walking with the girls, but both they and us enjoyed the rest and relaxation (even managing to read some books!). No light pollution meaning a glass of wine and star gazing was a must along with watching the amazing dragonflies flitting around.Everything was thought of in the accommodation and Debbie was very welcoming.Debbie followed up after the training with an email for us to keep referring to and has kept in contact to make sure we are still doing ok.Debbie genuinely cares about what she is doing with the dogs and wants the experience to be good for all. We have missed her since being home!I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!Thank you again Debbie from Sue, Dave, Syd and BingBong xxx

My Boxer and I came for a weekend's training holiday with Debbie and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We came away with lots of things to work on and feeling very positive. Debbie is very welcoming as a host and the accommodation is perfect for what we needed. It was a very relaxed weekend and that translated across to myself and my slightly anxious dog! We asked Debbie to come round and see us and our 4month old golden retriever Dexter. He’s pretty well behaved but as a family we all seemed to be teaching him in different ways and needed to find a method of training we could all use together. Debbie was brilliant, she visited for 90minutes and gave us some awesome training methods and the change in Dexter after that initial visit was amazing. When I took him for a walk previously we’d drive down to the beach but he hated getting in and out of the car, we tried Debbie’s ramp and with a little persuasion he was in and out no problem, just hope the ramp I’ve ordered turns up soon, makes life so much easier! We’ve also got little games to play with him which mentally stimulate him and he’s also now got a quiet area which he’s getting used to. I’d 100% recommend Debbie at Paws and Train, she’s awesome and knows what she’s talking about.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend. Debbie was so welcoming and her training methods really helped our lovely, but nervous and reactive GSD relax and enjoy herself. We have learnt so much and also from a very different perspective from traditional training. (Of which we have done loads of, and continue to do so!) I wish we had done this earlier but at least we did it now!!! The three of us had a great time and the place is amazing! Debbie thinks of everything! I would highly recommend and we are already thinking of returning! There is so much more I could write but think at least this gives a good overview. Thanks for a great weekend Debbie.
