Car battery not holding charge and within the guarantee period, tested to both parties satisfaction and shown as faulty. Replaced with a new battery on the spot. Excellent customer service, I purchase all my batteries from Halfords, never disappointed with their service. and warranty.

Shocking customer service. Wife showed up at the store today as her reg plate had fallen off the car (don'tuse sticky pads!). Refused to drill holes in her reg plates despite her being willing to pay for the service. She had bought her own screws, a screw driver and the old plates so they could see where to drill the holes. All she needed was 4 holes to be made, once again, she said she would pay for this. Said all they could do was charge her for new plates plus the supplement for drilling the holes into the new plates costing £60. She was the only person in the shop and the 2 staff members that were there were doing precisely nothing.

Totally disorganised with a serious lack of staff. An appointment was made for a mountain bike Assesment. Upon turning up 5 minutes prior to the arranged time, I took my bike inside, stood by the unattended bike counter for 20 minutes. No one came near and yet there was a bike in parts, on the floor in front of the counter. After this 20 minutes I approached the main shop counter where one person was serving and one was flicking through notes and checking a screen. I asked her if anyone was available to man the bike counter. The reply was… we are busy right now! My reply was ….’So am I !’ And I left, with my bike! NEVER again will I use a Halfords store!!!

Bought a new mountain bike from Riverside store in Northampton and traded my old one in exchange. Deal was very good.I was served twice by the same lad, Paolo, who gave me good advice and I could not fault his customer service and technical knowledge on my new purchase.Very impressed.

Booked for a windscreen chip repair. Ricky was super friendly and did a really great job with it, explaining the process whilst he was doing it. Ended up doing some other checks afterwards too which identified some issues I hadnt known about.The whole process was made really easy, I booked online and when I got to store all I had to do was check in and he was straight out to look at it, no waiting around.Would definitely come back again.
