Very nice location, and amenities. Due to the high wind and rain we were unable to fish. On our next trip north we will be calling in again

Went on Sunday, took my fiancee and her 6 year old grandson. Facilities were first class. Loan of equipment was very generous. Guidance and advice offered could not have been better. Lakes are quite literally filled with rainbow, brown and blue trout. There are also carp which makes an interesting challenge. The fish were in excellent condition with full tails. This of course enhances the experience of catching them. We all, particularly the little lad cannot wait to go back. All that put him off was the cold and rain. There is however a very warm lounge with a wood burner which makes an excellent place to sit and have a sandwich and coffee. All in all a fantastic fishery that I would highly recommend for experienced anglers or anybody wishing to have a go for the first time.

Great fly fishing for all, on 3 lakes.Whether you are a beginner or experienced,Two fly lakes, one with a island. Both fly lakes have big fish in, that will test you.There is also a lake, that is great for beginners, families, corporate events ect where you can book to try fishing and have a enjoyable day out. BBQ the fish there too.It's lovely place to go.Fishing tackle for hire too.The gentleman there has great knowledge too.Well worth ago I been many times now.Rainbow trout in there double figures can be caught, big brown trout and blue trout too.

Lovely fishery in wonderful countryside. The fish are fin perfect and hard fighting. The fishing hut is really comfortable and the whole fishery clean and well run

I was shock how unhelpful and prickly the people were. I was there to introduce my my 14 year old son to fly fishing who is recovering from brain cancer he is now partially sighted and other difficulties as you can imagine. They didn't ask at any point if they could help it was hard enough for them to tell us what to do with the payment never mind any other facilities. This was a shock after being at other fisheries where they were extremely nice and accommodating.The place it's self is great, the lake's were very accessible and people fishing were nice and very friendly.

Pre-book and fly fishing only.My first time visit and the people were very helpful.Very well kept, beautiful surroundings perfectly suited to the sport.And I'll never stop appreciating a clean flushing toilet. Easy to get to, nice roads / car park.

Had an evening fishing at Bessy Beck & wasn't disappointed netted 6 hard fighting rainbows to 6lb in nice surroundings can't wait to go back.
