Supposedly a Gas Safe registered tradesman, but provided a totally unprofessional service, which he refused to accept even after his shoddy work was inspected and condemned by a Gas Safe inspector.The system he installed not only didn’t work, the Gas Safe inspector stated that it was potentially dangerous. This was due to a combination of cheap equipment (which he sold as supposedly top quality) incorrect materials and incorrect installation. Walker refused to accept or correct his mistakes until ordered to do so by Gas Safe.Even after the remedial action, our central heating never functioned correctly and was a constant problem, to the extent that the system would have to be switched off when we were not at home for fear of a catastrophic malfunction.Our central heating was eventually inspected by a different, competent plumber, who found yet another, elementary mistake in the installation, which he corrected.My advice; avoid Mick Walker Plumbing at all costs.
