Bought 8 bags of sand and cement. The sand was in the racks inside the store and was most importantly not saturated unlike the materials I collected from a main line merchants on Monday. It was also nearly a pound a bag cheaper than the equivalent materials I purchased previously even with my trade discount. Good value.

I like it. First time I go there in about 2 years and found what I was l was looking for. It's pretty simple to find your way. I believe it's better labelled than a B&q but maybe there are not as many articles. I've been before in others and I can tell this one is a pretty small one. But yes, still good for the strictly necessary and quite a few good bargains.

Staff are so helpful every time I go in. They realised I had a buggy and a lot of paint one time I went in- they taped up the paint and helped me bag it up securely. They were so friendly and kind and always want to help

Avoid at all costs!!!! Waited almost a year for a kitchen to be fitted and now the work has been going on for 4 months when we were told it would be 2 weeks!! Multiple issues with the fitting, damaged parts delivered, poorly done and customer service don’t seem to care.

Avoid at all costs. Purchased an outdoor floodlamp and it broke after three weeks. Their trade card does not hold transactional records and they won't do anything without a reciept. I would definitely got to Toolstation or Screwfix any day! These guys now have £15 of mine for free. I left them the defective floodlamp which even said Wickes on it! Waste of time avoid avoid avoid at all costs. Cheap rubbish, bad systems and to boot there is usually a massive que

Shane helped me choose paint today, saving me so much time. He listened to my needs and helped me pick out two types of paint in matching colours. Even checking the finish and showing examples. They opened more checkouts when the queue became 3 deep and I was super impressed. Well done Wickes Stowmarket!
