We chose Quirk Design & Build to undertake our kitchen/Diner knock through and installation. We couldn’t be happier. Darryl, Alex, Grant, Tom and all the team were fantastic! Professional, prompt, tidy and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended and will certainly use them for future projects.

Having lived in our family home for twenty seven years, we wanted to reconfigure the downstairs of our property to meet our current needs. Living at Great Notley, Quirk were local and were recommended by two of our friends.Darryl came up with a two stage plan, phase one being a partial garage conversion into an office and to move the downstairs cloakroom. Phase two involved creating a new kitchen/dining room by removing the existing dividing wall, as well as enlarging the utility room by removing the wall into the old cloakroom. New kitchen units were fitted throughout.Darryl and his team have done a great job, completing all works to a high standard in a timely manner. Mess was kept to a minimum and all the team were courteous and reliable.I would happily use Quirk for future projects and reccomend his services to others.

Daryll and his team have completed two projects for us, firstly converting our integral garage into a playroom and secondly re-modelling our under stairs storage space and refitting a cloakroom. We originally approached Quirk having seen their advertising board on another job nearby, from the first time we met Daryll he was very professional and helpful offering thoughts and advice on how to get the best results from the improvements. The quotes provided were clear and detailed, explaining what was included and what needed further discussion so there were no nasty surprises on pricing. The work was finished to a very high standard, and I would absolutely use them again for future projects.

If we had to do it all again, we'd use Quirk Design & Build again. It is very nerve wracking when you put your faith in someone you don't know, especially with such an important and big value decision, but we are so glad we made the right decision.Darryl listened to everything we said and pulled together a fantastic team who were both hard working and fun to be around - although they did eat a lot of biscuits :o) - but more importantly had great pride in what they did, be it groundwork, bricklaying, plastering, tiling, electrical work or plumbing. They always involved us with decisions, including ideas on improvements, like a better execution for our re-routed soil-pipe, so it was hidden and didn't detract from the look of the kitchen from the outside, which we hadn’t even thought of.We are so happy with the finished product and the joy these new rooms give us was worth every penny. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had a brilliant experience with Quirk, they were exceptional throughout our garage conversion project.The quirk team were friendly, tidy and extremely efficient in getting the job done, completing the work very quickly and to a high standard.We had challenging circumstances regarding receipt of a certificate of lawfulness from the local council, Quirk kept us well informed at all times and did a superb job in managing that issue and finally getting the council to act. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with.The level of workmanship and attention to detail on the work is top class, they gave us great advice when planning the space - above and beyond what you would expect.We are very happy customers and would thoroughly recommend Quirk to anyone considering getting work done on their house.
