Western Avenue Dental Practice

I am patient of this practice for more then 10 years now and I couldn't be happier with the service. In the past I was affraid of dentists due to my bad quality of teeth and bad experience. Since I started coming to Western Avenue Dental practice my fear had disappeared. I had moved home more then once, but I haven't changed my dentist! At the moment I am travelling from Southampton to see dr Igor as I trust him and know he has my best interests at heart. Dr Igor is very best in this field! He is gentle, careful and patient too. My visits are carefree as I know I am getting the best service at best price! I would recommend this practice to everyone!

Will not be sharing my personal details but Very upsetting what I had to witness last week at this surgery, me and my family have been coming here for 10 years + and to come in to hear screaming and shouting verbal abuse from the new management towards the staff who I’ve personally known for again 10 years plus is very upsetting and off putting. This surgery has been a quiet family friendly surgery for years NEVER witnessed that day ever here in OVER 10 years. Completely put off coming to here, I came with my mother at the time and she felt uncomfortable and to be told our appointments were cancelled on top of that due to the unorganised surgery. I will definitely not be bringing my children or family here anymore. I hope the staff leave as they are such genuine and lovely people !!

DO NOT GO HERE. I have suffered becasue of negligence. The new management is unprofessional, there is no communication and the practise is a mess. My appointment was cancelled and I was not informed. I arrived on time to find the new owner on the phone, on loudspeaker having a private conversation about her business account with details of names and figures for all to hear. She did not speak to me other than to confirm my name and carried on the conversation as she booked me in knowing that my appoinment was cancelled. The dentist informed me the appoinment could not take place because the room was not ready. The waiting area had chairs upside down. The dental procedure room was full of boxes and equipment on the floor. My infection has spread further and I'm now in excruciating pain.

Western Ave has been my dentist since 2007, it is an exceptional practice. Great dental practitioners not just Igor. Lovely team. Polite, caring and accommodating if possible. A rare find an NHS dental practice who do the job properly, I feel lucky to be a patient here

Rude receptionist I went in to make appointments for my children and she was huffing. She said I should of called instead. What difference would it make if I had called she will still be talking to me. If she’s fed up with her job she shouldn’t be there. When facing patients or customers you need to have good customer skills.

Igor is a top dentist and an extremely nice guy. My Mum and I have been coming for years and he's always provided excellent service. I actually look forward to coming! He did a filling for me last year and it feels better than new.When someone does a great job you stick with them, and I'll be sticking with him. I feel very lucky to have such a dedicated skillful professional looking after my teeth as I get older.

I would love to say great thank you to Dr. Elvan Pala. I had a really great experience with her. She would explain everything about the procedure in details. She is very calm, patient and gentle. I had to remove my wisdom tooth and I have to admit I was a bit sceptical due to my previous experience (not with this dentist and not in this dental practice). She really put effort in explaining everything to me and on the top of everything she was very kind, approachable, gentle and quick. I usually don't write reviews but this dentist definitely deserves one.

Well… what a shambles I have been going to this practice for 24 years and this new boss Wiaam well what a waste of a person, she is the most ignorant intolarable person I have ever met! I will never be returning to such a state of a practice I feel sorry for any staff member dealing with her! Best thing she could do is shut the buisness down and never try again absolutely unfit for any management

I have no choice but to award this dental surgery 5 stars and would give more if I could. Igor is fantastic!! He is very kind, friendly and puts you at ease. He rectified my crowns which were hideous before! I now have an amazing smile. He also gives treatment to my two teenagers who have been very impressed with his service. I even recommended him to my mother due to his good work and high standard of care. Reception and other dental staff here are also very professional, courteous and efficient. Excellent service all round!
