The quality of the boats produced by this company are second to none! I am so impressed with what I received! We have upgraded our boats over the years, starting from the Orkney Longliner 16, then on to the Strikeliner 16, then the Orkney 522 and now have a Pilot house 20. The boats seem to last forever! Our close friends brought the Longliner 16 off of us which was built in 1974 and they still use it on a regular basis!Orkney Boats still sell all of the spare parts for the boats so you can give it some TLC when needs be.I could not recommend a better company to purchase a boat from. As cheesy as it sounds, it is not just a company it is a family!Once again, Thank you! Happy Orkney owners!

I have had my Orkney Longliner 2 for 2 years. It is a perfect little boat for my lure fishing here in Cornwall - quick enough, nimble and stable and well proportioned. The Orkney team were very helpful and informative throughout the build and the whole thing has been a success

Customer service is absolutely diabolical, dealt with Susan who comes across as very condescending. I paid for 2 stickers for my Fastliner that were not delivered, after many calls and emails I was told to chase it up" with Royal Mail myself. After informing Susan and Orkney about the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and advising them to read it

Fantastic boats for UK waters. They can handle the weather and last forever. Also, great parts follow-up and service support.

Excellent service and brilliant staff who are very approachable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. They have helped enormously with advice and spare parts for my very old Orkney, well exceeding my expectations. Thank you to Clare and Ian, great service!

We bought our Coastliner from Orkney Boats and, recently, re-sold her through them, much more quickly than we had anticipated. The boats are beautifully built and finished and we have always found the team to be extremely helpful.

Spoke to one chap couldn't be any more helpful, then following week spoke to enougher chap wasn't helpful at all, promised to send me a bill for the part through email so it could be sent out which never happened, don't think it very good for the orkney name how poor his service was. But the other chap which I can't remember his name I could fault.

I took delivery of my Orkney Pilothouse 25 on 21st August 2023.Since then we have been on the boat every weekend and every day I can get a day off work. The boat handles The Solent choppy waters with ease at 20 knots.Great space on the aft cockpit to enjoy lunch with family whilst anchored in Chichester Harbour. What a well built, beautifully fitted and strong safe boat in just over 25 ft.We are so pleased with our boat and love the traditional lines which stand out in the Marina.Looking forward to next summer, planning longer trips down the coast to Devon.

Orkney Coastliner 14.Having owned the same Orkney Coastliner 14 for nearly thirty years and completed over 1,500 sea miles in it, I think it’s about time I offered my opinion of the boat.It has been used mostly in North West Scotland for short coastal outings in all weathers. It copes well in conditions other similar sized boats would probably find challenging, the cuddy gives good weather protection and the 15hp engine provides enough power to keep on track. The boat has been towed to many places, is easily towed by a small car and is easy to launch. A few years ago the boat was run into by a Volvo, which resulted in a scratch on the stern but a very bent Volvo, which just proves how strongly built the boat is!The boat and trailer combination can easily be ‘moored’ in a standard garage. In my opinion, a good sturdy boat for exploring coastal waters.Well done Orkney!

Earlier this year I took possession of a new Orkney Pilothouse 20. It was built to my specification with the help of the staff of Orkney Boats. The result? A well designed and very well built boat. It may lack the glitz" of other builders but what I have got is a good sea boat
