We took our Owl mad daughter here for her birthday and we enjoyed it . The place is small but enjoyable . We arrived just as the birds were being fed , it does not bother us but if you are bit squeamish not what you want to see , raptors do not have table manners and are fed mice or rats . The birds all look healthy and staff are happy to chat and give you information when asked. There is a lovely childrens play area if you have younger children . The flying display was the highlight of the day and really informative and the birds do get very close to you . There is a cafe which is clean and has bird feeders on one side of the building and you can watch the birds feed while you eat and drink , the cake was lovely . There is also a little robin that comes into the cafe , he has his own feeding station to keep him of the tables , really lovely to see him bopping around .The entry price is reasonable and there is a small gift shop. The only reason I did not give five stars is some areas are in need of a face lift but we visited just before they close for couple of months to do work so it may be even better if we visited again.

I sponsor one of the Vultures so have been a few times this past year. The Flying Displays are a wonderful experience. One of the Kestrels flew so near that it's wing feathers brushed my cheek. And the Vulture was very interesting to watch & learn about.Nice cafe too. Staff friendly and helpful

A lovely place to visit, but remember it's a charity and it's all about the animals although there is a fair bit to keep kids occupied. The flying display was wonderful and very informative and it was fabulous being so close to the birds. Reptile were amazing to see. The cafe is very reasonable price for sandwiches and drinks. Great place to visit

Went to Liberty's Sunday afternoon.Managed to get and an catch most of a show. I really enjoyed it. I have a new appreciation for the importance of the Vulture.I especially loved seeing so many owls. I really love them and having large owl fly right next to my face was one of the highlights of my trip from New Zealand.Highly recommend location.Would honestly go back again if we had time.

Excellent time out, can do it all in an hour or so of rushing...Would advise staying for a bird show as quite informative...Definitely much more birds than reptiles but very cool birds like eagles!Cafe shop is alright, fresh produce and tasty cakes...All in all I would recommend whilst you are in the New forest...Well done!

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, right from the start we were made to feel welcome, the staff knew what they were talking about and we're happy to answer any questions, there are lots of boards around with lots of information, the bird flying is a must to see as they can get very close to you, the little cafe on site is very nice the cakes are amazing also the pricing, we arrived just after they opened and left around 4pm so plenty to see and do, there is a play area for the children as well as some quizzes for the children to do as they go around, the price of admission was great for a family of four, plenty of photos taken some might be better than others. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and when we come back to Dorset we will come to visit again.

We, my daughter, grandaughter, and I visited Liberty's on Tuesday, 29th August. We really enjoyed every part of it. The flying displays were superb and we stayed to watch both shows. We learnt a lot about the birds they flew. The reptile centre was just big enough for us all to enjoy with a very varied selection of reptiles. The cafe was clean and not too expensive and we munched our way through delicious toasted sandwiches. All the staff we encountered were fabulous. They need the visitors to stay open as they are only a small concern but it was so worth every penny. We will definitely be returning. Please support these wonderful conservationists.

Fantastic sanctuary. Spent around 3hrs walking around seeing the best selection of Owl's and birds of Prey. All very well looked after and had the privilege of watching 2 flight displays . We had a snack and drink in the cafè too. Easy to find using Google maps!
