Sent a email asking to arrange a Saturday appointment, got a reply saying I will contact you tomorrow as I'm on site, didn't hear anything so sent another email to remind them. Have never heard a thing since...totally ignored

We ordered a headstone after losing our son very tragically. I had other Stonemasons quote me but Abbey Memorials was by far the most competitive. We were advised of the waiting time for the completion of the memorial before we signed the contract so we were prepared that it would take some time before the headstone would be put in place. After signing the contract, we changed the wording on the headstone several times and each time, within a day or two they would prepare the adjusted script for the headstone as well as adjust the quote. Everyone I spoke to was helpful, polite and professional and always returned my calls when they promised to. They also responded to any emails I sent within a short time.Although we waited quite some time for my son's headstone to be laid, beyond the time quoted, the actual memorial exceeded our expectations. The quality of the red granite headstone is second to none. The gold engraved lettering is simply beautiful. We had my son's photo put on the headstone as well as The Arsenal cannon engraved also in gold, and the overall finished piece is perfect.Buying our son a headstone was not something we ever expected to do, but all the staff at Abbey Memorials were kind, patient, compassionate and considerate as well as always helpful. My family would highly recommend Abbey Memorials and with them being so competitively priced as well as professional and helpful throughout the whole process with a superb finished product, I don't think there is anything to lose.

I had a memorial book done here, very pleased with the service. This time around I wanted the books and grave cleaned, I have sent pictures through the website back in May, I have rung there numerous times and spoke to Toni, whom kept sayin the same thing she would check it and call me back its now July and I still haven't heard from anyone Terrible service

I can safely say I would neither use this service again or recommend it to anyone. I ordered I headstone and memorial last November. I was contacted in May to say they were going to lay a concrete foundation etc please go and clean the sight. We did not happened. I called in July I was to receive a call back nothing happened. I went on holiday and upon return in September I called three times. No one returned my called. I was told the person is on holiday and would called when they return. It’s now October and I called again only to be placed on hold and then told the stone hasn’t come in. We don’t know when and the person had horrible customer service. At this point we have paid over £2000 pounds with nothing to show except my mother whose keeps going to her husband’s grave site to clean it. Just in case they show up. So say I’m disappointed doesn’t even come close.

I would not recommend it. I went back and forth with them for 4 months, as they reply once a month after you call them consistently. I sent them an enquiry for a quote for a headstone, and 4 months later after my constantly chasing, I called them for a response and spoke to Toni who was able to swiftly tell me that the cemetery is unable to host my gravestone. It was clear that no one had asked the cemetery, as once Toni took over it was a quick answer. In this business of death, and dealing with sensitive situations, it is imperative to offer the best, reliable customer service which in my experience they didn't. I've decided to go to another memorial service as they've still not replied to my new enquiry despite them saying they have a 7 days response minimum.

I can't thank thank them enough,the memorial is absolutely perfect and the same goes for the service they have provided me.kept me up to date every step of the way and always answerd my emails quickly,I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

We decided to use Abbey Memorials for my Dad's headstone after being recommended to us by a cousin who used them,My family and i are so glad we did as they could not of been more helpful from obtaining the quote to the installation of the headstone,We dealt with Eloise Joynes who was a joy to deal with and the headstone looks great Thankyou,All the best Hugh Mcelwaine
