Went to have passport sized pictures taken. Store was shut upon my arrival with a sign saying someone would be in at 11.10am. Long story short the man serving took 1 picture, uploaded and printed it. It was at this point I saw the image and said “it looks too dark” the response I got was “it passed checks so it’s done, if you wanted a proffesional photographer you should’ve booked one”Unfortunately the other person in the store (older white lady) began to agree and say “no one ever likes their passport picture” at which point I stated it’s not even for my passport and if I’m purchasing it then I should at least get to see it before you printed it! I paid for the rubbish photos and walked away as I was with my 4 year old disabled son and the conversation got heatedI returned and asked for a refund and told this grumpy man that he had no right to speak to me the way he did and that timpsons website states if you are not happy with your pictures we will take one for you free of charge. Even automated booths give you 3 attempts for a picture you like. He told me he doesn’t have to give me a refund but he will and that it’s down to my vanity. I don’t know what that had to do with my original issue with the picture but he decided to attack my physical appearance to make a point. Either way a man with obvious years of experience in life should have way better customer service skills and it’s pretty disgusting that he would attempt to take digs at me in front of my child simply for stating I wasn’t happy with the service. You’re better off going to the photo booth across the street in tesco

I went into the store today to get some photos printed off my phone. The man who served me (Jason) was extremely helpful. He helped me print them off then helped me cut them to size and assemble in the photo frame i had bought. It took 3 photos so he helped me trim them and stick them in THANK YOU so much. What a lovely young man and a credit to your store.I would like to add that every time I have been into that store and the one in Sainsburys I have always found your staff (your son and the Italian guy) I think? to go above and beyond. You must treat your staff well as they are very respectful, polite and extremely helpful. Keep it up!Very satisfied customer

Appauling Customer Service. I went in there to get passport size photo done and the staff member who attended me was a very rude man with a big attitude. Took picture and asked me to key in my email address so I can have picture sent electronically. As I did that he accused me of breaking his computer screen. When I asked him why is he giving me attitude he took his SD card out and said that I must go somewhere else to get picture done. I was left gobsmacked and thinking to what was that all about.Very unprofessional and RUDE.

Worse place you can go to. Took my 5 year old son to take a picture for pasport. The old man in the shop took a photo that was no where near the standard of the picture you need for pasport. I ask him to take the pic again and he start showing me his attitude. Very rude and not friendly at all . Not recommended. Well I am going to jo jo photographer again today to take pasport pics for my son after wasting £12.99 at timpsons

Can't cut a key to save their life. Been 2 times the past 2 weeks and twice the key hasn't worked

Absolutely fantastic service from Mark and Liam.Last week I took in a couple of pairs of boot in their last legs. One pair were some knee high Doc Martens that are no longer made. The sole had come away meaning they were no longer waterproof and the zip has busted. Mark and his son Liam managed to not only repair the sole and make them waterproof again but they also replaced the zip! I’m so pleased, reckon their skills have given them another 10 years use.The other pair were some ankle Cat boots. I’d work the heels down something rotten and was worried that, even with a new tread, the heel would be uneven. But Mark managed to build up the heel a little, making them level again. Thank you so much for your excellent craftsmanship. I really appreciate your work.

Friendly Staff. They took, by their own choice, the photos multiple times until they were satisfied it was of perfect quality. Didn't rush or moan it was being done many times. Will visit again for car key service.
