Mount Vernon Cancer Centre

I recently visited mount vernon hospital on the 12/November/2016 to undergo a laparoscopic key hole gallbladder removal surgery. from the moment I stepped in to the Trinity care unit my first impressions were very positive front the whole day everything ran like clockwork and the staff there especially the nurse that was looking after me on section D6 was absolutely reassuring, kindhearted and professional. Personally I'm not a big fan on hospitals however this experience really impressed me and I wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped to alleviate the pain I have been experiencing for many months. The NHS don't always receive the thanks that they deserve and I felt empower to right this feedback. Hopefully the lady looking after me could be praised for her natural ability to build positive first impressions and her kind loving heart. Nothing was ever a problem and she went out of her way to please everyone.Overall the experience was very positive, if you are due to have day surgery you will be well looked after and there is no need to worry about a thing.Thank you.

Fabulous staff, convenient location for all my elderly and young friends needing treatment, great parking. Devastating news to see they may" be moving it!!! After all the fund raising the community has achieved for machinery

I agree they keep you waiting for ages. You have to ask more than once for everything depending upon which nurses are on duty. Some are really attentive and caring.If you only ask once one nurse assumed I didn't need what I asked for. I couldn't find my bell to call her.

There is nothing I can say that would highlight how amazing this place and the staff are. They try to accommodate all situations and are so friendly. Adequate parking (concession) for patients and easily reached. Care is above and beyond what you would expect.

Absolutely wonderful hospital, was an inpatient for two months.. honestly say all the staff, from the cleaners, to catering staff, nurses and doctors are real life angels.. I appreciate each and every one of them

Absolutely amazing adan in the out patients cancer clinic rooms went obove and beyond for my partner so reassuring made everything seem easier to deal with but also told it how it was and made him realise if he didn't fight no one could for him , thank you Adam one amazing member of staff , xxxx

Having just been to Mount Vernon for Prostate Brachytherapy and a few days in ward 10, I just wish to thank all those concerned for providing such a high level of care and treatment. You vey professional and are great and a real credit to the NHS
