Fantastic Sunday lunch here. The vibes and the service were immaculate, including a friendly welcome for a family birthday meal from our waiter. The decor is interesting and comfortable and the menu choices are delicious. Cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful country side pub. Amazing interior, very cosy, lovely atmosphere in summery hot days outside or winter rainy days inside. Food is good

Had a great visit to The Mason Arms (Artist Residence) pub on Sunday.Super friendly greeting and lovely attentive staff. We ordered x2 of the 1/4 Lemon & Thyme Chicken roasts. Great roast, came with extra Gravy and Cheese Cauliflower. For the price, didn't feel like we were getting a lot of chicken, but the taste definitely made up for it.Really nice atmosphere - Warm, cosy, fireplace country but with a modern vibe.Would definitely re-visit.

Terrific atmospheric country pub. Friendly, attentive service . Very good food at a reasonable price. I only had one evening here at a friend's reunion, all of whom agreed it was a great venue!

After Reading reviews in Tripadvisor and Google I figured this sounded like a nice place to take the wife for her Birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly from the outset, the service excellent and the Food superb.Set in a lovely country pub the atmosphere is lovely and whilst the layout rambles its well presented and allows for a relaxed dining experience.I filled out the online booking form and just happened to put it was the Wife’s birthday. I didn’t ask for the ice-cream and candle, it was a lovely touch at the end of our meal and put a huge smile on her face. We’ll be back!

A once-loved pub falls short with steep price hikesI've been a loyal patron of this pub for years, drawn by its charming atmosphere and consistently delicious lunch offerings. It was a true hidden gem, a place where one could escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a hearty meal at a fair price.Unfortunately, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed and concerned about the pub's future. The lunch prices have skyrocketed, with a burger now costing £18 and an additional £3 for bacon. This significant increase is not reflected in the quality of the food, which remains unchanged. It feels as though the management is taking advantage of its loyal clientele, price gouging without delivering a commensurate improvement in the dining experience.Given the abundance of competition in the area, I fear that this pub may struggle to maintain its customer base if it persists with its current pricing strategy. I urge the management to reconsider their decision and bring their prices back to a more reasonable level. Otherwise, they risk losing not only my patronage but also that of many other loyal customers. In its heyday, this pub was a fantastic spot for a satisfying lunch. I sincerely hope that it can recapture its former glory by addressing the issue of inflated prices

The owners are so polite. Their staff is amazingly helpful and polite, too. The food was delicious and our room was perfect. We will definitely stay there again on our way back to England.

Really nice pub in a very nice setting. Kids loved the back garden with a large tree to play on. Food was very good. Had mussels and prawn cocktail. Can recommend. Staff was also super friendly. Sat outside but inside looked very cosy as well. Had two fireplaces.
