A lovely pint of Carlsberg Pilsner, far better than we've drunk elsewhere. Not too cold as in other pubs/bars. You could actually taste it & the colour was even better! Nice atmosphere & will frequent again!

Been in this lovely pub plenty of times & had a great time. Today, what a disaster.;IGNORANT BAR STAFFwith no customer experience what so ever.I asked for glass like the guy before only to be told its plastic. Lo & behold only next to me they were serving in glasses. When I pointed this out I was just ignored & the ignorant young girl just moved on to the next customer. Needless to say I moved on next door.I can understand the plastic situation but let's make it for all.

Traditional old town pub. Great choice of beers, wines and spirits, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Worthy of more than one visit. Good views and outside seating in the shadow of the minster

Packed packed packed on the weekend, you can't sit down and it's really loud but that's not such a bad thing, it's a really British pub. It smells like it, it looks like it, it's real. I go to Dubai and places, they try to get the look of a real pub but can't. Big big thumbs up. REAL PUB.
