Professional attention to detail throughoutAfter viewing work completed by Scott Davies, we had absolutely no hesitation in asking Scott to take on our extension and were grateful when he was willing to accept the job.Scott’s professionalism and attention to detail shone through in all his work and this includes the trades that he employs to carry out specialist tasks such as electrical work, carpentry and plastering.Scott isn’t just a builder; he is a project manager who thinks on his feet and will advise and guide throughout the whole project. Utterly trustworthy, we gave Scott access to our house to complete the build whist we were at work during which he was always considerate to our needs and those of our neighbours during those dusty noisy stages of any build. And always maintains a tidy site and the end of each working day.Overall, employing Scott to carry out work for you is like having a temporary additional family member we have been thoroughly impressed with his work ethic, skills and high-quality professionalism. We would have no hesitation in asking Scott to undertake further work in the future and we would not hesitate in recommending him to friends and family.

Scott replaced two beams in our house with RSJs and built two brick pillars. Great communications throughout the job and was very clear about timescales. Was very neat and tidy. Very happy with the finish, and defiantly recommend him for future jobs.

I have to say that I can't recommend Fareham Brickwork & Orangeries Highly enough.There workmanship and attention to detail is above anything I have come across before and being in the construction industry myself this has really impressed me.I have used Scott and his team a couple of times now for decorative wall and must say you won't fined better brickwork than his.The orangerie that he has built for us is out of this world.I have to say that I was a little disappointed that I could not fined a snag/defect to pull him up on and this impressed me.Price was as quoted and I was informed every step of the process.all in all a first class company to deal with and would recommend to anyone thinking of a brickwork or Orangerie project.

I can't speak highly enough of Scott, the quality of his work, his professionalism and his willingness to go above and beyond to satisfy his customers.In the past 3 years, Scott has built us a large double garage and more recently a large extension and I can honestly say we couldn't be happier with the results.We're looking to get a large patio built this summer too and we're more than happy to wait for Scott's availability - we're simply not interested in considering anyone else for our building work and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, hard working, decent, honest experienced builder.

We were looking to replace our 25 year old conservatory with a new one and whilst getting quotations the subject of Orangeries came up as a consideration. I Googled a local search for this topic and Scott’s website came up and, on the strength of the reviews, I got in touch with Scott for a site viewing and a subsequent quotation. He responded very promptly and after a discussion he devised a plan, his price was very competitive, so a contract was agreed.I cannot believe my luck in finding Scott!I can honestly say that all the reviews on his website are genuinely true and I can only repeat what others have said.He is highly skilled with a good depth of knowledge of his trade, takes great personal pride in his work, is reliable and honest. He discusses each stage of the construction as it progresses to ensure your satisfaction. He uses top quality materials and does not cut corners for cheapness or speed. The contractors he uses for the tasks outside of his skill base are also in the same mould as himself.We are so pleased with the finished Orangery, best decision we ever made.Both Scott and his apprentice Josh, are affable, hard working characters, and enjoy a nice cup of tea!In conclusion, I cannot recommend Scott highly enough and would certainly use him again if required.Well done and thank you Scott

We had no hesitation in contacting Scott Davies for a quote for the build of our extension due to his reputation, quality and workmanship which we had witnessed first-hand by viewing some of his work nearby.His quote we received was in line with the expectation and cost advised by our architect.Scott project managed the overall build and worked within our time frame employing other tradesman as required I.E Electrician/Carpenter/plaster.We were due to be away for a month (on the other side of the world) of the build. Scott was a person who we could put our trust in 100% to look after our property in our absence, ensuring it was secured while not on site,Scott’s start date tied in, ensuring that the external work was complete and the house was weathertight before we left, then completing the internal work in our absence. Scott kept us updated regularly while we were away with the progress and forwarded photos.While on site Scott would ensure the site was kept tidy and a safe place to work. At the end of the day Scott would ensure the site was secure and cordoned off to protect anybody transiting the side passageway.Scott is a very reliable pleasant person, who is always punctual keeping you informed of his start times, if required to pop off site to collect items or deliveries. Always introducing other tradesmen, he employed.On completion the extension looked far better than we had imagined and received highpraise from our neighbours.We were so impressed with his work ethos, skills and high quality of workmanship that we had no hesitation in approaching him to landscape our garden building retaining walls, steps up to lawn area and laying two patios to complement the extension once we had decided on the layout.Scott would be the first person we would approach for any future work we require and we would not hesitate to recommend him if asked for a reliable builder, which I have done on a couple of occasions.

I cannot recommend Scott and his colleagues highly enough.We wanted a new garage built to replace an existing, dilapidated lean to.I passed the plans to Scott and received a prompt response and visit to discuss the work.The quote was received in a timely manner and was the most competitive that we got.We were kept informed of when the work would start and Scott also made us aware of things like rising material costs and what he would do to mitigate those.When the work started one of the first things Scott did was to introduce himself to our neighbours and inform them of the inevitable noise and minor disruptions. Myself and my neighbours really appreciated this.Scott and Josh arrived early every day and we were always told if they would be later than planned for any reason. They worked solidly every day and were always polite and friendly.Scott dealt with the building regulation side of things meaning that the project as a whole went very smoothly from start to finish.The quality of the brickwork and overall finish is excellent and so many people have commented on how good it looks. Especially the way the garage has been integrated into the existing brickwork.Where required Scott would use other tradespeople who were of the same high standard and Scott would always be on hand when they were on site.We are very, very happy with the finished garage and we would not hesitate in using Scott and the team again and would highly recommend them.
