Can‘t understand the bad ratings for the fish & chips. Fish is very fresh and tasty. Chips are ok on the upper end. And btw what do you expect from a chippy when it comes to burgers?

Fish n chips:Over cooked, over battered, overpriced, over oily and under portioned.If you're running late getting to Ullapool, stop elsewhere en route/look up other options. Actually closes at 9.Avoid disappointment

A busy chip shop, with lots of customers coming and going. Customers are given a little beeper and wait outside until the order is ready.The haddock was very tasty, the chips were tasty and crispy enough, but very pale.

Best fish and chips I've ever had. Considering how many bad reviews there are, its quite a shock! It was the only place in Ullapool that we could eat and considering we'd had a long day on the motorcycles we had no choice. Pleasantly surprised though. It is expensive, but we really enjoyed the food. Staff were absolutely fine.

Utter rip off, charged £15 for 3 plain sausages! When questioned was told sorry we’ve started cooking them.The fish and chips were at best average.To sum up it’s an NC500 tourist trap and best avoided!

I have been to this take away on many occasions it really is a treat. I always have fish and chips and you get a very generous portion. They also will give you a bit of lemon and tartare sauce to complement it. I hadn't been here for a couple of years, but as far as I am concerned it is worth the trip to come to Ullapool for your fish supper from this place.How this place only gets three stars is beyond me. I would give it ten stars if I could it is so good.

It was ok, but pricey for the quality. Chips were a bit soggy and it's £1.95 for a can.Plus 1 star though because there are gluten free fish& chips available!

£5 for this 'large' portion of chips.Be your own judge but I felt pretty short changed, considering the neighbouring chippy is half the price...
