We booked through Google and arrived on time. The place was nice, but the tables were so tight, leaving no space for our dishes; we were practically dining with other people since the tables were attached to each other.So we didn’t have any privacy or could talk freely with each other.The lamb shank was amazing, although I've had better Shishlik. The meat was a bit dry, and they used an excessive amount of cinnamon in the meat's sauce and on the rice, which wasn't the traditional taste for this dish. Cinnamon is a taste that isn't easy to balance in a meal in my opinion.Overall, the experience was okay. We also tried their cocktails with a Persian touch, which were really good.

Food delicious, service great. The traditional drink (sharbat) wasn't my fave however, that's probably because I personally don't like rose water. My friend loved it.Remember to notify your waiter of any allergies too. It looks like this cuisine has nuts in many dishes so be aware, they accommodated well

Came here for dinner with a friend on Wednesday night and it was packed! Glad that we had made a reservation in advance so do take note of that.We ordered the starter selection of a range of dips with traditional bread and everything was amazing - kashk-e bademjoon, mast-o khiar, mirza ghasemi and the last one I can't find the name on their website but it's apparently made with potatoes. I personally was a big fan of the aubergine one and potato one, such mild flavours yet very pleasant and went extremely well with bread. For main, we went for the mixed grill for 2 that came a variety of grilled meat including minced lamb, chicken and lamb chops. Wow everything was so tender and juicy and super well-marinated. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and couldn't stop food-moaning the entire time! Also the portions were huge for everything we had ordered and we couldn't finish the food so we took the leftovers away. What really impressed me was that they gave me a new portion of hot rice on the house and re-filled the yoghurt dip for my friend so we basically got free food from the restaurant!Vibe wise it was modern, chill yet relaxing at the same time. We had space to chat and catch up and weren't rushed through our meal even though it was clearly busy on both floors and people coming in and out. Staff were all very friendly and approachable. I suppose the only down side is the slightly pricey menu but given its located in the middle of Fitzrovia you can't really expect very low prices for the high quality of food and service they provide. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would absolutely love to come back asap!

Very delicious food, especially the mixed grill, lamb chops and hummus. The service was exceptional, they were very accommodating with bringing an outside cake in for a birthday surprise.

We had lamb chops and chicken here the other day. The lamb chops were very tasty and the quantity was also good. This particular chicken dish was a bit sweet, it was not the best but was fine. Both the dishes were served with rice. In starter we had a lentil soup which was very good. We also ordered sharbat to drink, the taste of the sharbat was good but even though they added ice in it, it was still a bit warm.We could only get a table outside, we called them to reserve just before reaching the restaurant, it was nice to get a table but it’s not very nice to sit at the restaurant’s door. The servers seemed very busy and were coming in and out all the time, which was very distracting. The environment inside looked good though.I liked the dressing of the servers, they were dressed in traditional Persian outfits.

Nice place for some Persian cuisine, which I'd never had before. There were only a couple of staff who were working very hard. The food was very tasty but perhaps a bit too oily. We used a Tastecard 2 for 1 offer which worked on everything but drinks and the main grill.

My second visit to the restaurant was enjoyable, particularly the delicious mix grill for 4 with its generous sides. However, the in-house bread, though fresh, lacked the distinctive Middle Eastern (Iranian) flavors I was hoping for.While I appreciate the owner's warmth, the service charge felt somewhat disproportionate to the service received from other staff members. It would be wonderful to see the overall dining experience elevated, ensuring both the food and service align with the excellence I know this establishment is capable of delivering.
