We had Eleanor serve us. She was happy and kind. There was a small issue with our order which was sorted very quickly. Our chef Gary did probably the best side salad I've had. The burger and pulled pork was perfect. I've always liked this pub. The staff and Suzanne make it the best atmosphere too. Will definitely be coming again.

Always love coming to the Orchard. Food and drinks are beautiful and fairly priced. Staff are always accommodating, polite, and friendly. Have brought my family here a number of times because we love it so much. Had many lovely experiences here and looking forward to having many more.Plus being dog friendly is a massive bonus

It was dreadful right from the start.First impressions, the building and location was nice but interior was very run down. A lot of cracks and damages on tables and walls etc. Chairs and tables were dirty and damaged too.We got there at 12:15pm and were seated quickly. A lot of food missing from the menu due to a delivery not turning up. We ordered our food around 12:30pm and waited over an hour just for the starters.When the starters arrived, they were missing bits and not to the description it stated on the menu!There was one member of staff that was covering the bar and serving food. The poor member of staff was rushed off her feet covering all angles.Someone had said that the chefs had 'called in sick' to go to a Race course.The family who ordered before us had theirs given to them about 2pm and the food was cold and the burger buns were solid.The time now being 2:30pm, and we still haven't had our food yet. Having little children with us and having to wait so long for food is unacceptable. They were hungry and getting upset, so we had to leave.This was my first visit with the family, and unfortunately I won't be returning in the future.I found this whole experience very stressful and upsetting. We were given a refund and some vouchers for meals but I don't even want to come back.I would like to emphasise that the member of staff done what she could but unfortunately was let down by other staff members and couldn't cope by herself.

Roast was delicious, children were very happy with their pizzas, rump steak looked lovely and my dad was very happy someone went to find him brown sauce! Staff were all really friendly and couldnt do more to help and make sure we enjoyed our visit. Good value for money too so will definitely return!

Being told to grab condiments and cutlery myself... Mate is not what i expect from a green king. Lovely beer, mostly the staff are fantastic, just burnt by one incident. Will drink, but never eat the again... And i live very close. Pity.

Manvela and Jonny were absolutely fantastic! The level of service was beyond exceptional and amazingly friendly, nothing was too much trouble at all. The food was cooked and presented beautifully as well. Highly recommended and thank you so much for making my daughter's 18th birthday so memorable too!

We stopped in off-chance hoping to get a Sunday roast and I'm pleased to say that we had a lovely meal. Everything was really well cooked and presented and the staff were excellent. Also, the prices and value for money are exceptional

This could be such a great place and is so important for the community but it is just not being run well. They have run out of almost all food - again, there aren't enough staff to clear tables so there are half eaten dinners and dirty glasses everywhere it takes half an hour just to get a drink and the prices have gone through the roof. Normally I only leave positive reviews but I have seen so many families disappointed as they can't get food and so many staff upset because they can't cope I am making an exception to warn you before you come!

Came for lunch with my daughter and the service was exceptional. The food was piping hot and delicious, compliments to the chefs! The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, will definitely be coming back :)
