The Cardiff town one by the market fantastic. The one outside Asda very disappointing keys didn t work cut them badly

I went to three independent local watch repair shops and was very disappointed with inflated prices and poor customer service. So finally I popped into Timpson's, which I initially thought was just a shoe repair shop. How refreshing to find a comfortable place to sit (I am disabled) and excellent customer service: a guarantee to have my expensive Swiss watch repaired within a couple of days at a reasonable price. Other shops told me up to eight weeks at twice the price. He also replaced the battery in my diving watch with an expensive silver based jobbie for the same price elsewhere as a basic lithium battery, which doesn't last nearly as long. He also repairs shoes and cuts a key or two. However, he doesn't repair broken hip joints--you would have to go to the NHS for that, but he can provide you with a lovely wooden walking stick to help you get around while you're stuck on the NHS hospital waiting list for months . . . and months.

Amazing customer service. The shop's doors were open early which meant I could pop in on my way to work and I expected the repairs may take a week or so - however they promised to have done by lunch time the same day and delivered on that promise. I had a bag repaired and some new soles put in boots. Excellent result, excellent price and exceptionally friendly service. I'd give more stars if I could.

Terrible! Charged £25 to replace a battery that stopped working within 2 months. When my gall father returned he was told the face Nikita be damaged! The face was removed one time only by Timpsons to replace the battery. No refund of the battery let alone the watch cost.

Extremely happy with the service I received today at Timpsons Cardiff. I took in a own to be engraved for my stepson’s graduation. It was beautifully done in under 30minutes. Whilst I was in the shop I saw several people come in for key batteries, shoe repairs etc. The greeting and customer service left them all really happy. Great shop, amazing service. Thank you

Cost almost 40quid to get new soles put on my Birkenstocks and within one week the front of one sole started peeling off and now after a month the other one is. I've brought gorilla glue and fixed it myself. Waste of time and money

Poor been waiting since 25 May for watch repair told 4-5 weeks phoned time and time again excuse after excuse for winder and glass supposed to be special glass gone to different department phoned today gone to quality control should be back to Cardiff by end of this week 14th of July.Asked for scratches to be looked at or made good would be different dept and extra money above the £120.00 already paid on 25 May.

I visited to have an old favourite handbag repaired and a pair of Doc Martens stretched. They did a great job on both. The bag had fabric separating from the leather, and they were able to stitch it up, and unstick the zipper. The boots are much more comfortable now. The prices were very reasonable as well. I will definitely use this shop again!
