I don't normally leave reviews but I really can't recommend this place enough. The staff are so friendly, I always end up having a good giggle with Martina. Rachel and Finnoula are amazingly good at what they do and don't mind me bombarding them with questions. I love supporting independent local businesses and I feel like the added value I get out of going to R&F is worth more than anything I'd find at a chain opticians.

100% personal touch from Rachael and Martina.Friendly relaxed atmosphere, and the glasses that both my wife and I got,thanks to Rachel have improved our vision immensely. Value for money in service and quality of the end product.Would recommend to anyone.First class service.

I HAVE STAYED WITH THIS OPTICIANS SINCE IT WAS TAKEN OVER FROM PATRICIA QUINN & THEY GIVE A FAR BETTER SERVICE IN MY OPINION. MY EYES CONTINUALLY CHANGE BECAUSE OF MY CONDITION BUT THEY CANNOT HELP ENOUGH AT ANYTIME. THE 2 OPTICIANS ARE SO HELPFUL & THE YOUNG LADIES THAT ARE RECEPTIONISTS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK CAN`T DO ENOUGH FOR YOU. I WAS IN ON A MONDAY AND MY GLASSES WERE READY IN 3 DAYS. BRILLIANT SERVICE SO THANK YOU ALL AT R&F OPTICIANS.

It is a pleasure to support a local business which gives exceptional, personal service. The eye test, from Rachel, was very thorough, with reassurances about options and costings. Martina has great knowledge of glasses available and gives honest feed back. A very friendly and personalised service. Happy to recommend it to anyone.

A lovely opticians with a real personal touch. The selection of glasses is amazing. You really are spoilt for choice. I could have chosen 10 pairs to be honest. Thank you Martina for being so helpful and patient with my Mum and a special thank you to Rachel who actually dropped my prescription sunglasses to my house so that I’d have them in time for my holidays. Where else would you get that sort of service?!
