Absolutely amazing. Visitor. Stopped to stock up, just me, the quality was outstanding. Just cooked the stuffed chicken with peppers etc, 1st class, wish I was a local. Beef burger fab, pork loin fab, be cooking the mince in Winchester area but I know it will be excellent. We need mor like this in East Sussex, we have a great butcher but stuffed !

Under new ownership in 2022.Products on offer improved greatly - more choice is much appreciated. Good quality local meat on offer.Friendly and helpful service.Definite recommend.

What a great butchers! From the first moment I made contact via Facebook, to arriving in the shop, to eating the food... it’s been first class!! We visited from Brighton for a week.. we have dog on a raw food diet. No problem to sort them out here, and amazing quality meat from Bob- going back in a few days for a bit more cheese & bacon for the way home... oh & a pie or 2!

We've traveled for a month through the UK, mostly in Wales eating sausage and bacon at every stop. Nothing compares to the sausageand bacon from Bob The Butcher. In addition, I arrived late one day while Bob was leaving after closing up shop yet he was kind enough to help me. Class act, amazing food!

When I visit Wales, the folk do keep a welcome, and none so more than Bob’s pies. Surely the best pies in the uk.. I’m afraid to laud them, in case they sell out. Magic… that’s in Rhayader.
