Marshall Volvo Derby

Took a while to find the car I was looking for but Marshall Volvo Derby found my 25th Volvo. Many thanks to Natalie and Pietro for putting the deal together.Delighted with the car!

I got a brand new Volvo through Marshall’s from Dan. Initially a strange experience sat in a dealership ordering a new car online, but Dan helped me find the exact car I wanted within the timescale I needed it in.Dan also kept me informed on the cars progress and updated delivery timescales and we were in regular communication until it arrived.There were some issues with the Volvo UK finance team and without having support at the dealership would have taken much longer to rectify.Overall very satisfied.

Travelled from London to Derby to view a V90 at Marshall Volvo. The showroom is nice with free refreshment on offer. The staff are nice, friendly and no hard selling.The lady at the reception was very pleasant and she introduced me to Natalie. Natalie took me where the car was parked and left me to view it while she was dealing with another customer. I asked to test drive the car and Natalie arranged the insurance cover very quickly and let me take the car out alone for a test drive.The car was nice so I put a deposit to return the following week to collect. While viewing the car I noticed some of the back seat isofix were broken and the boot floor loader gas strut was not holding the floor up. The manager Mr. Pietro Mariano assured me that they will be replaced as well as, the car will be cleaned.I met with Natalie again and she showed me the car before signing off all the vehicle transfer documents. I found the isofix were not replaced and I am not sure if the gas strut was replaced with a second hand part or not fixed at all.Natalie improvised and removed two isofix from one of the new cars in the showroom and replaced the broken ones in the car I bought. She also put some fuel in the car to send me off to London.One thing I would like to mention, the staff at Marshall Derby seems to be very busy and the best way to contact them is calling the showroom. Emails not answered quickly or answered at all.Over all, the experience was smooth and pleasant and Natalie dealt with the sale and the issue of the work which was not done very professionally. Marshall Volvo Derby is a bit far away from London but I have no issue with buying a car from them again, and I would recommend the dealership to others.

Really happy with the service provided by Tim at Marshall’s. He was very knowledgable and gave us all the information and support we needed in making this decision.Although getting a new car is exciting, it can also be quite stressful and Tim made this process easy and pain free.Have already recommended this dealer to a colleague and would definitely go back as Tim and the team looked after us during the initial visit and collection of the car.

We bought a second hand (non-Volvo) car from Marshall Derby and were dealt with by Tom.We’d travelled 90 minutes to view the advertised car and Tom was knowledgeable, super helpful, with no pressure selling whatsoever. This provided us with complete confidence to buy the car. The car was then fully prepared to a high standard in a few days for collection and overall it has been the best car transaction we’ve ever had.I’d give the dealership and Tom 6 stars if I could. Amazing service from Natalie in sales. We had given her a wish list of what we wanted on a car and she found the perfect car for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy to talk to and so very knowledgeable. We have spent a few hours with her this week but we are leaving with exactly what we wanted. Brilliant customer service, polite and honest which is so important. Great experience start to finish.Update.I am having issues with the above dealership, I don’t want to make any adverse comments, I will update the review accordingly when and if our problem gets solved.All I can say is be very cautious and vigilant with your paperwork.

Fantastic customer service from all the staff, especially John Lord who took us through each step of purchasing our XC60 Volvo.If your looking for a Volvo, take a look at Marshall’s in Derby opposite the football stadium. We are really thrilled with the whole experience.

We visited Volvo Derby at the start of August 2023, having sold my previous car we had the ability to shop around. We decided to visit Volvo to look at the XC range after considering numerous other 4x4 brands.We were met by Dan at the branch, we were a bit early as the dealership hadn’t opened. We were thankfully welcomed by a warm welcome, a tea and a biscuit - ideal start to our Sunday morning. Not being the easiest of customers and having an open mind on other brands we told Dan our list of requirements…. Not being phased he allowed us to look at some non Volvo 4x4s that they had received as part exchanges, having spent a good 30 minutes now telling him what we wanted and what we didn’t like about other brands Dan showed us a couple of second hand Volvo options. We were sold! , we test drove a car in the same spec as we wanted. Unfortunately the car we wanted was in another site, however, the car was able to be shipped to our location within the week. Within 6 days we had all the paperwork done and keys handed over.The whole experience was great, we didn’t feel pressured and felt reassured - buying our first family car. Dan was fab throughout as was the dealership manager!Would completely recommend Volvo Derby - great selection of cars, no pushy sales and a great warm welcome.

Genuinely have never been so impressed by a car dealership. All the staff I have spoke to have been helpful and polite. The General Manager, Qash, is literally the most understanding and helpful person I have known work in a car dealership, and I’ve bought and serviced a lot of cars!!!!! He went above and beyond when I had an issue and quite honestly left me speechless in how he dealt with an issue for me. Can not recommend Marshall’s Volvo Derby enough….truly outstanding!!!
