Oake Meadows Care Home in Somerset | Larchwood Care

This is an awful care home. My Nan was in here for some time before we moved her to a much better one. Often we would come in, she would be without things that she needed, wanting to go toilet and nobody had took her, asleep for large portions of the day. The care home was unclean and the smell is smelt immediately upon entering. Her new care home is nursing and has no smells at all.None of the carers knew anything about the residents, we even gave them an information sheet all about her life and her. There was even an ongoing investigation which we wasn't even informed about. I would not wish my worst enemy a place in this care(less) , home. Also the manager wasn't welcoming in the slightest, not even a smile, very rude.

Brilliant staff, lovely warm welcome, residents are well cared for, accommodation is great the rooms are well equitably with their own furniture allowed. Brilliant home 10/10 award
