Wickes Kings Lynn

I went in for Roofing felt today and found the store to be clean and tidy. I was served by a very kind gentleman called Gary. He helped with choosing the best felt for my needs and was also very friendly. I don’t usually do these reviews but he is a real credit to the store.

Called into Wickes of Kings Lynn to purchase a £124 Keter garden storage box ( checked the online stock the previous evening which was showing 4 in stock. I even took a screenshot on my mobile phone of their webpage displaying the information ). Went inside the store to where I thought they might be situated but couldn`t find any Keter boxes for £124 although there were some more expensive boxes on the shelves. I checked with the cashier back at the entrance to the store and showed her my mobile phone screenshot but was informed they didnt have any. I requested to speak to the store manager. The store manager arrived, again checking the stock on the computer terminal where she declared that the boxes were over on aisle 5. I mentioned I had already checked but couldnt see any. It seemed with some reluctance she accompanied me to where the Keter boxes were stacked. I had been looking at the wrong shelf, there were 2 x £124 Keter boxes stacked on their ends rather than stored flat on the shelves like the more expensive options. I apologised for not looking in the correct place.Wickes could have potentially lost out on a sale. The staff that I encountered this morning were not rude but by the same token it felt like everything was too much trouble and that I was an inconvenience.Would I go back..........probably not.

Good place. But I think it’s marvellous because of these all items. Some items are sharp for me. I like to see floor,wall,build items and furnitures! And customer service is acceptable. I also like to see Audi in it!

Excellent service sorted me out when I was not to sure what I wanted. Thanks to the lovely lady on the service desk , and The young man who got exactly what I needed. Thanks again for you excellent customer service ( Wicks kings Lynn).

Waited months for a part of the work surface to be delivered. Despite sending photos and measurements the wrong part was sent three times, delaying the installation. One part of the work surface was delivered with a mark in the resin (verified by two independent kitchen fitters), which is weirdly getting darker, but because wickes outsource this to Sheridans both companies are saying nothing can be done. To date no one has come to see the mark. We are in the process of talking with citizens advice and small claims. We will, obviously, not be using wicks/Sheridans in the future and advice others to think very carefully.

Had a shower fitted very poorly fitted. After six months, it started to leak and fall apart contacted Wicks and I didn’t wanna know.

Got told to leave for no reason, in a very patronising way while just looking at kitchens!!!

Good store, well stocked

Shocking is an understatement!Looked online and it showed they have items in stock. How wrong we were when they didn't have it, to be told stock isn't counted in, it's scanned in on good faithOnline shows 11 in stock and they actually have 3 over different storesHow much money they must lose and how much suppliers must make.Unbelievable

Went to look at a cooker but no luck but very helpful 16 weeks waiting time. The other thing is gravel got some about 3 month ago but went back for more can't get it half garden paths done but no more. Not happy days.
