Studio by Sea

Fantastic studio, big bright space with plenty of room to work in. Equipment is well looked after and has a great range of gear to achieve what you need in your shoot. Plenty of backgrounds to choose from. As far as studios go, it's one of the good ones! Can't recommend enough. Also Ryan is great to have on hand at the studio to answer and questions.

We are so lucky here in Brighton to have Studio By Sea on our door step. A brilliantly versatile studio with everything you might need for a successful shoot tucked away in a lovely part of the city. Paul and the his team are so accommodating and helpful. It's now my go to place.

We used the studio to film in front of their green screen. The staff are lovely and the studio is really spacious. They were really helpful with setting up the lights, screen and just in general with tips for filming on a green screen. The studio is easy to get to and there is a lot of options for how to use the space. Overall a great experience, we'll definitely come back if we need a studio space again!

My favourite studio ever! Paul was so helpful with everything leading up to the shoot day and then on the day, even took the time to give me a mini tutorial with their equipment at the start of the shoot as I had some questions. The space is really great and everything you could need. The lovely juice bar next door even bought us through some spare juices they had left over free of charge. Paul mentioned when he started this studio he really wanted it to feel like an extension of home and have everyone feel super comfortable and Studio By Sea really does feel like that. Everyone was relaxed all day and we had a great experience. I'm looking forward to heading back soon :)

Great little studio for stills and video and a fantastic location too! Paul was very attentive, professional, and there when needed but left us to our own devices. The bonus for us was that the filming we were doing was quite sensitive, yet the ambiance was spot on, and everyone relaxed into it almost immediately. Just need to plan the next shoot here!

Fantastic location and interior shoot space. Facilities are all thought out and we found the cafe next door to be top notch for lunch. The weather was good so we used lots of near by locations in Hove and the beach. Paul has a great in depth knowledge of photography and would have set us up in the studio had the weather turned. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to shoot in Brighton!

Sigma UK filmed a video here recently with a Brighton-based photographer. The studio was well-equipped, the location is good, and there is a parking space immediately outside (as well as other paid car parks locally). Love this studio. Unlike some of the other studios in Brighton this one is really nice and quiet, there's only one studio so you don't have to worry about people in other rooms making loads of noise or playing loud music. The room is really spacious, more than enough room to set up a good amount of lights.They have a great selection of coloured backdrops, the whole room is tidy and well maintained. There's also some nice natural light coming through windows which you can block out if you need to.Great little cafe next door for coffee and food. We'll definitely be returning!
