Homefair Blinds & Shutters Altrincham

To start with choosing the blinds and booking it all in was fine. We had blinds put in every room. When they were fitted there was always an issue. Either they were not hung straight or there was marks/damage to the blinds. So they were happy to replace the blinds but everytime the new ones came they were damaged too.They don't treat their workers well as if the blinds not fitted correctly i was told they would take the money out of their pay. Staff told me other customers had same issues with repetitive damage on blinds.The issue is the blinds are manufactures abroad so homefair don't actually check the blinds and they are made so quickly in bulk that there is alway damage.It turned out to be a bad experience and we eventually settled for some blinds being damaged. We would not recommend this company, i will stick to my local company as prices in comparison were the same and the blinds are made here so they can be checked before sent out to customer.Avoid!

We got recommended to this company , so visited the Altrincham show room to get advice and look at on display items. The employee in the shop was lovely and helped us and got us booked in. Couple of weeks later and blinds where all fitted at what I would say a responsible price seeing as they are made to measure and fitted items. I would use them again.

Lovely helpful informative staff, really great to be able to visit a shop and feel the quality of the goods. Four stars because of limited finishes for the choice of blinds. No opertunity to choose from a wider range and still have them professionally fitted by the company.

I called to arrange an appointment for measuring for new blinds and told the lady due to work commitments im only available from 4pm onwardsDay of measuring nobody arrived so gave them a phone call to see if somebody was still coming abd was rudely told someone had called between 8am & 11am that dayAnd was told nothing could be done and wasn't offered any alternative appointmentSo one sort your customer service out pleaseIm already an existing customer who has bought numerous blinds in the past and certainly will have nothing to do with this company ever again!

So impressed with patience and help from Leonie at the Altrincham branch. She helped me work out a way of replacing some parts rather than renewing my Homefair blinds. Always so polite and helpful; I wouldn't go anywhere else for blinds for my own house and our rented properties.

Really nice lady but decided to purchase from Blinds by Post as waiting 3 weeks for a measure up then more time to wait for blinds. Ordered by post Friday and they arrived Tuesday. They need more salespeople to visit homes. It’s no longer a waiting society. We want things yesterday.

The sales ladies in the office were lovely. However, the standards of home fair blinds have gone down hill. We ordered 4 roman blinds and 3 venetian blinds. All 4 roman blinds were a wrong measurement and one of the venetian was bent at the bottom. We informed the shop start of April. We had an inspector come in to check. It is almost end of June and the issue is still not sorted. Extremely annoyed at the service. There is a constant excuse of, we are “short staffed.” The company has shown no interest to fix the mess they caused.

Over the moon fantastic service polite and friendly staff very helpful great price would definitely recommend

So disappointed in homefair as their representative never called ,1st rep called,measured up but 2nd representative was supposed to call to measure curtains but never even called,my wife waited in all week but no show,On a scale of 1 to 10 it's a 0
