Only used Fishtastic as our regular chippy closes ay 7pm on a Saturday..Food was ok but portions shocking compared to other fish shops in local area. Ordered large cod and chips which equated to a medium from Linfords in Stanground and OAP steamed fish and chips where the Fish portion is no more than what you would feed to a baby...From now on we will make sure we hit our regular before 7pm to avoid this rip off.

Food is ok, bar far the cheapest chippy around. If you order sauces ask them to put them separately or the will put them in the box so you end up with hardly any chips.

We order from here alot as it's 5 minutes from our house.The food is really good, however recently we have been getting some under par food, last night for instant we had a half portion of large chips, greasy sausages and halloumi fries.I hope this period of underperforming food is a blip cause normally it's great (even when they forget to give us dips we ordered).Service is normally fast if you order through the app, if you don't ans walk in be prepared for a little wait, which is fine as the food is cooked fresh.I hope I can change this to a 5* very soon.

Sadly this evening's meal will be my last at Fishtastic Cardea. The standards have fallen dramatically. I ordered a large haddock at the cost of £10 (not including chips or side) this turned out to be the equivalent size of a very small cod portion. The battered sausage was anything but. Onion rings look like they had been boiled. If it wasn't a 20 minute drive I would have returned the meal. Adiós!

Given there's some stiff competition in the area, I truly believe Fishtastic takes the crown as the best chippy. Food's always excellent & the collection, delivery & walk-in services are bang on. Never had an issue in several years of custom. Will always recommend. Fish and chips as they should be.

Lovely staff. Made me feel welcomed and well the food was surprisingly well packaged. Fish was pure white and cooked perfectly. I've seen award winning claims before but in my world this chippy deserves the award. A very oelasent customer experience with awesome quality food too. I will return again soon. Thanks. Food was so nice I forgot to take photo be for I starting noshing it all.
