Visited the Whitechapel branch for a tryout of various cameras I was interested in, specifically the Sony range. Had brilliant service from Ryan and the Sony product rep; advice on choosing lenses based on proper experience, advice on best deals and a non-pushy sales attitude, and taking plenty of time to make sure I was happy with the choices.In the end purchased a new camera body and two lenses, and feel very happy that I've got what I wanted.Would recommend to anyone to visit Wex ahead of a straight internet purchase unless you know exactly what you want, and even then you may end up with a more suitable product by visiting them.

I originally went to Wex Photo Video London for advice and help buying a new camera and lens. I am not a professional but rather an enthusiastic amateur. It was definitely worth the journey into London as I received friendly and professional advice.My telephoto lens developed a small fault which was dealt with, and I even had use of a replacement lens while I waited for the repair! As I couldn't get to London Ross arranged the free return of my lens and collection of the borrowed lens. Their customer care is outstanding and second to none!I am so impressed with their operation and staff.I would not buy my camera equipment anywhere else.Thank you Wex Photo Video!

I popped into the local Wex Photo shop on Commercial Street, E1 yesterday, and received an excellent and very professional demonstration of the product. I was extremely impressed with the Sales Consultant (Sabrina Rovello's) knowledge and explanation of the way the product operates, and also all of the accessories that are available to accompany it. Always my first stop when buying photography or filming equipment. The prices are competitive and the advice I get for the staff in the London store is priceless. In my most recent purchase, Sabrina was (as she always is) extremely helpful and generous with her experience and time to ensure I buy what is right for the shoot I am doing.Over the years - from Calumet to WEX - the staff have always been super helpful and knowledgable starting from Jamie, the store manager, to Kamyar and Siim, just to name a few.

Today I bought the Sony x74 and two different lens as an upgrade from my old Canon set up. Our sales consultant Ryan Thomas was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He paid extra attention to what my needs are with my photography and found the perfect match for me. I really appreciate great customer service and he deserves the full 5 stars for his professionalism. Definitely recommend this store and Ryan as a sales person.

Extremely unhelpful staff. I have dealt with them on a few occasions where I have found them to be snappy and not willing to help me find a solution. “It is what it is”, in short is what I get back from them. Today was the last straw, when they couldn’t help me with an eta for an out of stock item and I was told to place and order and wait and see when it arrives.There is an attitude amongst the staff especially when you deal with them over the phone.It’s a shame, but I guess I’ll take the advice of the sales member and “go buy it from someone else”.That being said I have had much better phone etiquette when I spoke to CVP.It would be great if CEO, Louis Wahl, could contact me so we can continue this conversation further about how to rectify the below par customer service.

Visited Wex with my partner to buy a camera as a gift for his upcoming birthday. We needed advice and Wex had been recommended to us. Absolutely the best decision to go! Ryan was brilliant - knowledgeable, friendly, and took a huge chunk of time to speak to us about the pros and cons of each camera we considered. He worked to our requirements and budget, and we were so impressed with his expertise, even down to the accessories! When we came to purchase, the camera wasn’t available in store but he had it shipped to us at no extra cost and it arrived the following day. Exceptional customer service - would thoroughly recommend Wex, and Ryan!

Sabrina, in particular, was a gem—her patience as I navigated through selecting my camera was remarkable. Her expertise was truly amazing , which made my decision-making process incredibly smooth.
