Worst A&E I have ever been to. This is where asthmatic people are told to wait in a cold A&E and wear a face mask with an active asthma attack. Staff had 0 compassion and did not seem to be concerned. After waiting 4 hours in A&E, in the early hours of the morning, I was struggling to breathe and had no inhalers. I went to the receptionist and tried to let her know I was getting worse, I could hardly walk or get any words out, which was very evident. In my condition, she continued to give me long directions to go and find a nurse on my own (she couldn’t be bothered) She did not care that I was telling her I am getting worse, she told me I had to wait 2 more hours as per the policy. At this point, I did not want to die in A&E and decided to leave. The next day my gp provided emergency care and yet again an ambulance was called and I was taken back to QMC, only to be told that I had pneumonia. The waiting periods are atrocious, elderly patients getting ignored in bays, ignorant staff that rather sit on their phones than actually help others.

I'm stage 4 cancer...I asked the lady on arrival! The receptionist! I need to see a doctor fast! She even said to me gosh your stage 4 on your records but you will just have to wait like everyone else!4 hours later I'm rushed into surgery!Has to be the worse hospital in England! Just because you work at a desk doesn't mean you can't aid care that's what the NHS is about isn't itReally rude and arrogant to max I wish I don't end up there when the time comes

I would like to thank all the staff on the morning shift of 17.7.23 for their care, professionalism and attentiveness in attending to my husband, the patient and myself, the worried relative. We could not have hoped for a better service.

Terrible service in the children's emergency !yesterday I was there with my son who had been vomiting all day and had diarrhea and they simply did not attend the emergency room and sent me to a room he calls a GP. 3 more children arrived and it was visible that they had peeps abdominal pain, they were crying and screaming that they could not stand the pain and neither a doctor nor a nurse appeared. A nurse appeared to give medication to only one, as he was in total despair of pain, but the doctor's care never appeared. I waited 3 hours and no one showed up. it was clear that the children should be in the emergency room and not in that room with a lot of neglect. I believe they do that for parents to give up and leave, it's hard work for them to do their job. for I gave up and left, for I would not leave there before midnight. child in pain, with desperate crying is a lack of respect and disregard for those who need care. this is not the first time, I've been there for 6 hours and the doctor didn't even ask for a blood test to check something, he just told me I had to do it on my GP, well, if I'm there with the child in pain, is there a problem has. But for them everything was resolved by paracetamol, without even taking a test or better investigations. We support the NHS at the time of the pandemic and understanding what everyone has been through, now if they are not happy, let them strike at the door of politicians, and don't take it out on the population that I support the health system so much. It’s really disappointing

The service is shocking! I came to A&E with chest pains and was unable to breathe. I have been left 3 hours waiting to be seen by a doctor!! I could be having a heart attack or asthma attack and they wouldn’t care or even know! I have just been leftI am currently sat next to the reception and can hear what others are attending A&E for. People with a graze on their knee are being seen before me! Barring in mind I have been here longer than them. The service is shocking!!Would rate nothing if I could, they don’t care about us! They would let you die.. scummy behaviour

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Queens ED, and I must say that I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided. From the moment I entered the practice, I encountered multiple issues that left me frustrated and disappointed.Firstly, the waiting time was incredibly long. Despite early assessment done in an hour, I ended up waiting for over four hours to meet a GP. This lack of punctuality is unacceptable and shows a disregard for patients' time and schedules.Furthermore, some staff's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. When I inquired about the delay, I was met with indifference and no explanation was provided. The lack of communication and empathy from the staff only exacerbated my frustration and left me feeling unheard and disregarded. To make matters worse, the quality of care received was subpar. The doctor seemed rushed and disinterested in my concerns. I felt like my symptoms were not given proper attention, and the diagnosis and treatment plan provided seemed inadequate and rushed.Overall, my experience at Queens Medical was highly disappointing. The excessive waiting times, some unprofessional attitude of the staff, and lack of quality care have left me with a negative impression. I would not recommend this practice to others seeking reliable and compassionate medical care.

Was there for 7 hours, the receptionists were extremely rude, they talk back and give dirty looks and felt like I was deliberately ignored twice. This is extremely unprofessional especially in an environment where you need help. It’s a shame because the doctor was lovely and very helpful. It felt as if it could have been because we were students that it was acceptable to speak to us like that and I am still in shock on their behaviour and I’m suprised nothing has been done about it.
