This place is absolutely beautiful. Theres a great little souvenir shop inside at the end. It’s not massive but it’s a nice little place to see. Outside of it is beautiful too.

This was a beautiful attraction to visit, with different types of trees all around particularly tropical ones! The mock animals like snakes and pandas add to the experience, one of which is hidden so well in a tree it almost blends in. Pond is pretty too, setting indoors is pleasant and most of all it is free!

Winter Garden
We visited to escape the rain and played a role play imaginative game around the trees as we read the signs. We visited in the evening as still open (till 8 I believe) shops inside were shut so was lovely and quite. 2 security guards on duty however they didn't stop children from running around dangerously and running into people. Free to walk through. 15 minutes is all you need to explore.

Absolutely loved the winter garden! Firstly I do have to say, I went in August so the weather was absolutely beautiful and warm. The flowers and trees were well in bloom. I took a lot of pictures, and overall the garden was busy. It’s not a huge garden by any means but it’s a nice place to sit while you chat with a friend or to just pass through. It had a decent amount of benches and there was a lovely little cafe inside that had seats sprawled across a small part of the garden. I would recommend just going past the Winter Garden while you’re on your way some where else. It’s not really “the main event” type of place. Regardless, I loved it. I loved that inside the garden there was a door that led to various galleries. I went into three of these art/museum style galleries.

Lovely indoor gardens, great place to sit and chill.Entrance to the museum inside plus a couple of lovely little crafty shops and coffee bar. There was a table football set up when we were last there which kept many people entertained.I studied the history of this place and understood that It is one of the largest temperate glasshouses to be built in the UK during the last hundred years, and the largest urban glasshouse anywhere in Europe. It is home to more than 2,000 plants from all around the world. It was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 22 May 2003.

Beautiful, tranquil; an oasis of calm nestled in a busy city. The best spot to eat some sandwiches, reflect in the middle of the day or to feel immersed in nature.
