Bought a car with Alva Motor Company with two months free M.O.T cover for the car to have so many issues . All M.O.T's were present in the car when bought but the previous year one was missing.Went online and found out the issues from the previous M.O.T. and why it failed. The reasons why it failed its M.O.T. the previous year was also the reasons it failed the year it was bought .The two months we had free M.O.T the car was unsafe to drive. IF YOU FOR SOME REASON BUY A CAR HERE HAVE THE MOT DONE STRAIGHT AWAY INSTEAD OF DRIVING AWAY IN A UNSAFE CAR FOR MONTHS DONT PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK JUST BECAUSE THESE GUYS WILL. These guys are sneaky and will take full advantage of you .Do not trust them .

Was encouraged to place down a deposit on a car I was wanting to view. When I discovered insurance on the car would be a problem, they have so refused to refund the deposit on my car - despite distance selling laws entitling me to a refund. Do not trust these people.

AVOID at all costs. Within 6 months of buying a car here, it's had to be returned twice for engine repairs (taking a total time of 6 weeks). During this time there was no contact from the garage to me, I had to chase them constantly.Outside of this I've had to spend £1,300.00 on non warranty repairs despite it having no trouble at all" passing it's MOT on purchase. Not what I'd expect from a £2900 car from a dealership.I have heard since that the owner has a very poor business record in the local area.I always try to support small business

Excellent customer service. They bent over backwards to ensure that my vehicle was mot ready before releasing it to me.

First class service and a great deal from The Motor Company(Alva). Ignore the older bad reviews, it’s been under new ownership since April this year. New management friendly and helpful, can’t fault them.
