It's so nice to finally have a vegan soft-serve option, I visited Bristol a few weeks ago and brought my non-veg friend here so I could try this out.The ice cream tastes delicious, I've been waiting for vegan soft-serve for about 5 years now, and it tasted how I remember the milky version to taste. Great value for money as the portion is massive - in fact between the two of us we couldn't even eat the heaping cup full we were given.Perhaps it would be worth looking into offering smaller portions for children. Would also love some sort of vegan screwball type offering in the future. Will be trying again next time I visit.

The Happy Cow vegan ice cream van is there most days from noon until early evening. Apparently the cows don't mind being unemployed and are happy because the ice cream is made from rice and coconut oil. The ice cream itself is soft serve and comes in waffle cones or cups with the usual range of sauces and toppings - all vegan, of course. It does taste different to dairy ice cream but is not unpleasant and doesn't have any coconut flavour. If you are keen to eat vegan this is a good alternative to ice cream.

I love the concept and the branding! However, I was a tiny bit disappointed and might not go back to vegan options anymore. There is only one flavour and yep, that's it. Missing maybe chocolate, or other flavours? The ice cream itself is very generous. But, I found it way too much sugary. I couldn't taste anything else than the sugar which doesn't feel very healthy

Outrageously good vegan ice cream, huge portions and a huge selection of toppings.

Amazing vegan ice cream! My friend who eats dairy also thought it was amazing. Lots of choice of toppings and sauces! My only complaint would be that there was so much ice cream I couldn't finish it, but is that really something to complain about?

I have a dairy allergy and though there are lots of nice ice creams available on the market, this is the first soft-serve I've ever found.I was like a 5 year old child brimming with joy when I saw this ice cream van. We're having beautiful weather and what could be better than a soft serve ice cream with raspberry sauce?!The rice milk ice cream was plain but I can tell you that it was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have enjoyed it more. A simple pleasure that would probably bypass dairy-eaters as they can take it for granted, I savoured every morsel of my ice cream and had a beaming with afterwards.I'd love to see vans like this all over the country. I genuinely couldn't recommend anything more highly.
