The Curries Wedding Photography

Chris & Gillian captured our wedding day so perfectly- the emotion, the laughter, the love and the little details. They were nothing but professional, warm and kind, they got on extremely well with our families and guests and yet still blended in seamlessly to the background of the day while they captured some incredible photos. We aren't very comfortable in having our photograph taken, but they both made us feel really comfortable and confident and I think our happiness shines through in the photos. I also sent them a little mood board of wedding photos/poses/settings we both liked a few weeks before and when we look back on our final photos its clear they really made an effort to achieve this- and at the time it still felt totally natural and effortless. They have an amazing eye for colour, style, details and light and they made all our guests look fantastic. We would both thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for more laid-back, stylish and natural wedding photos- thank you both so much again! <3

We knew we loved the style of The Curries photography, but we underestimated how brilliant they'd be from start to finish as a supplier. We worked with Jack Stocker, one of the Curries' associates, and he was a complete pleasure to have around and captured our day beautifully. Jack is super personable and made us both feel incredibly at-ease at the wedding, and in all of our run-up / follow-up conversations - he navigated travelling to Ostuni in Italy and shooting a 85 person wedding with no fuss, and did an amazing job with our photos. Beyond that, every interaction with the studio was kind, clear and prompt - their invoicing system is hassle-free which makes a difference. Thoroughly recommend to anyone - don't walk, run!

Gillian and Chris are the loveliest people and we are so grateful for them!! I have worked in photography and choosing our photographers was the most important decision to me. Their photos exceeded all our expectations…every single shot included in our final gallery is perfect. Their presence on the day was calming and joyful, we could feel their excitement to be with us at our destination wedding in Portugal. They are true professionals who made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, it comes through in their stunning photographs. Our guests still talk about how much fun they were to be around! A favorite moment was near the end of the night they could tell my husband and I hadn’t taken a moment from the dance floor to “take it all in.”They stepped out for air with us and took some photos. It was just what we needed and it is a testament to how intuitive and special Gillian and Chris are. I could go on and on, they are amazing! Hire them, it will be the best decisions you make!

Beyond my wildest dreams - Chris and Gill are so thoughtful and easy to work with, funny, patient, efficient, organized, I could go on and on. The photos speak for themselves though. They are better than I ever could have imagined and I’m so happy we worked together. The amount of people who gasp when they see them and times I’ve heard “these are the best wedding photos I have ever seen” never gets old!

When it came to our wedding, hiring the right photographer was of the utmost importance to me as I love reliving memories through photos and it was important to us that we felt very calm and comfortable with whoever we hired. We decided to hire The Curries for our wedding in London this past September (2021) and we are BEYOND happy that we did.The Curries are, first and foremost, INSANELY TALENTED!!!! You can see for yourself on their website and Instagram that they have a very keen eye for capturing moments in a beautiful way and making you feel like you are there in that moment with the couple. Everyone that has seen our wedding photos has said they are the best wedding photos they have ever seen!!! I know sometimes people just say that, but I am talking about people we barely know going out of there way to tell us how incredible they are!!They are very professional, responsive, helpful, insightful, and timely.They are also such kind and warm people! We had such a fun day with them and all of our guests said how lovely they were as well. I am truly sad that I probably won't get to do a fun photoshoot with them again anytime soon!I can't say thank you enough for bringing us so many lovely photos to relive the memories from our wedding day for the rest of our lives!!!If you are debating which wedding photographer to hire, DEBATE NO MORE as The Curries are THE ABSOLUTELY BEST!!! We loved working with Jack and Jess from The Curries Studio for our wedding in Puglia, Italy! They were super relaxed on the day and took some great shots - nothing too staged; always opportunistic taking pictures when the light was good or when there was a break in speeches; blending into the background and snapping candid pictures of the moments we really want to remember. Would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Chloe & Joe at The Curries were absolutely incredible! Not only did they capture the natural, beautiful shots we were after, but they really captured just how amazing and full of love our day was! They really became part of our day, getting to know everyone and generally being the loveliest photographers I've ever met. Huge thank you again for capturing memories we'll always treasure. Having Gillian & Chris shoot our wedding earlier this year was an absolute dream. They immediately put us at ease and it was a joy to have them around at our intimate town hall wedding. The photos are such a beautiful momento of the day and we wouldn't hesitate to book them again!
