An excellent dojo with world class instructors, family friendly, has a wide variety of ages from 6yrs to 60yrs, free car parking is available. Come by and make new friends and learn a new skill. Classes run from 10am to 3pm.

Fantastic Class. Always popular and busy. Good atmosphere. The instructors are great and have a real depth of knowledge. Soloman is a national kata champion so he can always give you good tips. Anyone who wants to take up karate should check it out.

A truly wonderful Karate club in Gateshead. Very inclusive and family orientated. Our youngest has autism and learning needs and is fully included, never told any of it would be unsuitable and are prepared to work at her pace. All the instructors have a vast amount of experience and are willing to spend the time to ensure the students reach their full potential. We travel from kibblesworth and find it quick and easy to get to Easily accessible for those looking for a karate club in Gateshead or Newcastle. There is a real family atmosphere at the club and those who are non karate bods are made to feel equally welcome. There are also a vast range of ages and abilities who attend and everyone does really well.Really can't recommend this club and the people who run it enough

I moved my training here a few years ago, the standard of teaching is strong, 3rd and 2nd dan black belts mainly, with all grades and ages training in the class, regularly two or three black belts, brown belts, right through all the grades to beginners, ages range from children through to mature adults. Classes are a mix of Fundamentals, Kata and forms, practical bunkai from kata, sparring and some practical self defence techniques. It includes progressive karate thinking, how to move better, how to create more power and stability, rather than just going through the movements and repeating them. the class rarely has less than twenty students, often closer to thirty; it’s family friendly with some parents training alongside their child both as students. Usually there are two Senseis teaching, sometimes three, so the class can be spilt between ages and abilities for certain sessions or activities. The dojo now has a full set of mats which makes training and some practical work more comfortable. And most of all, it’s fun, they are a great group of people who didn’t know me when I joined and made me welcome from the start.
