I purchased the Easter family dinner deal on the 1st April. Went to cook the pork joint, as I opened the packet the smell hit me! It was off, the smell was foul. So being easter Sunday I couldn't take it back as the store was shut, then to cook the cauliflower cheese and find out it was all mouldy inside! Will never again be buying meat or veg from m&s. This didn't even deserve the 1 star but you can't review without it!

I only buy the basic groceries at m and as I am disabled so it's the nearest store to where I live. The prices are extremely expensive. A lot of the food is spicy or has alcohol in it and m and s used to sell clothes and household items which was fantastic but now it's only a food hall. ( Half of the shop is alcohol anyway) I just buy bread and milk in there. Also there are no staff around to ask for anything. Very poor. Should try harder.

Not too big, not too small. The staff are always friendly, helpful and upbeat. Regrettably none of the checkout tills were occupied during my last visit, so I was obliged to use a self-service checkout - not a huge issue, but I prefer to support and perpetuate local jobs.

Very good. Efficient at the door with staff member wiping trolley/ basket handles. Very polite staff, helpful when I couldn't find anything. I paid cash & told the young cashier that it would be best to give me change on top of the receipt. Otherwise a very positive & virus aware" experience."

Very worrying to see the staff ignoring customers or refusing to talk to them. This store has the worst self-service checkout machines I've ever come across. The scanners are hopeless and there are no staff to deal with any problems so you can be waiting a long time. They don't have staff even for the normal checkouts and you have to go looking for someone all round the store to ask if they'll serve you! Crazy.

It's a great store with everything I needed. I was surprised as I expected it to be smaller than our big one in town but it was of similar size and had all the same great ranges as the other store. I went to get certain items aswell as a browse and came out with every thing I was looking for plus extras. The staff are friendly and more than happy to help with queries and the flower assortment is absolutely fantastic.

Always lacks products on the shelves during peak times of the day, especially meat products. Find some of the staff very selective when it comes to who they are friendly with. Seems older generation to older generation is fine but us younger people seem to get indifferent service. The process in reducing food throughout the day is very strange with staff very purposely not reducing items they want. The reduction percentage also lacks thought. How can you buy 3 items for £10 and then reduce 1 item to £3.50 that can be purchased in the offer....very clean store though

This store is not how you expect an M&S to be. It’s untidy, hit and miss on service and shouldn’t offer a parcel collection and return service as nobody is prepared or interest in that.On my last visit I waited at the customer information desk to make a return after doing my shopping just to be pushed aside so the staff could sort out someone’s meal deal confusion. I thought Us brits adhered to the queuing system!The staff are friendly enough but I think there’s a management issue. I usually only review when I’m impressed but my last few visits have been very disappointing.
