they are nice people. The manager at Nottingham is very pleasant and will always go the extra mile, however I was disappointed that they cannot fund a Sage accounting course.

Caroline, the recruiter from the DBC booth at the job fair lured me in (and many others) by promising a job right away (other higher ranking staff also promised me a job later on).By agreeing to her scam, I was required to complete maths, English and ICT material at level 2 and pass tests in each of those areas but it was all just a waste of my time(half a year) since upon completion of these level 2 courses, I found out I already had a level 2 qualification in the first place on my certificates which I obtained elsewhere whereas they claimed I don't even have GCSE'S...Like whiterabbit86 earlier said, they will just get EU funding under your name and they'll be sitting happily behind their desks. The only good thing about this place is that you can use a PC with internet, print stuff and get your bus fare reimbursed(EU funding).By the way, during my time spent there (along with another colleague) 4 of the staff abruptly quit and we never seen them again...

I did functional skills level 2 in English here last year, and I cannot state how badly run this place is, and how awful the teacher was at doing his job properly. He could barely speak English himself. The worst part was when he failed to pay attention in the speaking and listening exam that he was supposed to be paying attention to. There was an external invigilator there when the exam was happening, and she was furious at him. He should have been fired, but he wasn't. Instead he blamed us for her stopping the exam. The course ran 2 weeks past when it should have ended, because every single lesson was ended early, probably because he got paid to sit around and do nothing instead of putting effort into teaching us.And finally, I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CERTIFICATE! It's been months now.Absolutely awful place, don't bother. Find somewhere more professional that won't waste your time and do the job they're getting paid for.
