GPC Mixed Martial Arts

My son really enjoys going to MMA and has just recently passed his first ever grading. My son was very nervous at the start but Gary really welcomed him into the class. Gary is such an amazing coach and really helps the children achieve their goals. I would highly recommend this club if you want your children to learn a new skill.

When my son mentioned to me that he would like to try Martial Arts, I've googled nearby classes and found QKD school. We've received a very warm welcome and still attending classes, after nearly 3 years of training!My son got a huge confidence boost over those years and met some great people. I've even decided to join him and now we are working together towards our family goals.Master Coles is amazing teacher and he's got great approach towards all of the student. The whole QKD team is made of most friendly people you can possibly imagine!

We were looking to introduce our 5 year old to a new hobby, we wanted something that would help keep him active and build his confidence and he was a big fan of ‘power rangers’ so we thought GPC MMA would be a great place to start!He was a little nervous going in to his taster session as it was the first out of school activity he had been to but he soon settled in and was really keen to return.He loves attending the classes because he likes ‘learning new moves, playing the running games and he thinks master coles is funny’.It’s great to see him building his focus and skill set each week and I’m really looking forward to seeing him progress further.

My little boy started with the club when he turned 4 and absolutely loved the weekly sessions! A really good mix of learning and practising techniques and moves, but with fun and exercise included. My little boy really benefits from getting out that extra energy and I think as he grows up continuing to learn the respect and commitment/ discipline element required for working towards belts will be really beneficial

Definitely recommend, such a friendly and welcoming class. My son loves coming to the class each week and has grown in so much confidence.

Gary and his assistant coaches are all friendly and kind but firm when they need to be when children are being disruptive but in a non- confrontational way.My son has been going for about 2 years now and enjoys it just as much now as when he started. He is quite petite and i feel pleased that he is learning the discipline but also some self defence skills.I would definitely recommend trying MMA and for both boys and girls.

I wanted to find a martial art for my son to learn. Having learnt Judo and Tae Kwon Do myself I recognise the benefits these disciplines brought me in life. I didn't want to create a mini killing machine, just provide my son with some much needed focus, pride, and confidence so that he could handle himself in a potential conflict.I took him to a couple of sessions to Qi Kwan Do under the stewardship of Master Gary Coles and was impressed with his pleasant demeanour. He had the ability to relate to parents and children and has cultivated a friendly community feel within the class, which seems to grow stronger very week.I felt so comfortable with the set up that I thought i would join as well. We have both since demonstrated our commitment To Qi Kwan Do and Master Coles by paying up for the whole year and enjoyed two months free membership as a result.I recommend anyone to come along and see the class for yourself. My son's concentration and focus has improved greatly since we started and at the age of 43, my waistline is slowly firming up.

We came across your classes in search of an activity to help our son build confidence, respect and discipline. We found this great place to learn and train and coach Gary Coles and his lessons have helped my son grow from a shy little boy, into a confident boy who is now willing to try challenging tasks.My son loves the fun filled lessons and he even tries to teach his friends the moves he learned.We like the way coach Coles teaches kids self-defence, discipline and respect through playMy little boy still has a lot to learn, but I am sure coach Coles, as well as all the other coaches at GPC MMA, will help him become the best he can be.

I highly recommend this club and Head Coach Coles. My 7 year old son has been attending for 2 years now and he loves learning the new techniques as well as the discipline, self-control and strength he is gaining as a result of the coaching. Master Coles has a great approach to teaching the kids and keeping them focussed during class whilst ensuring they are enjoying it which is no easy task.
