Room was grim to basic. Double room, one cup, asked for another so we could both have a cuppa in the morning, didn't get one, no spoon either.Radiator & window blind need a clean.Funny smell, a bit like an old smoke smell but the smoking ban inside was years ago so couldnt understand it. Not enough hot water in the morning for 1 shower, never mind 2. Boiled hot water from kettle to get a wash in the sink. Should have read previous reviews before booking. Only advantage was the parking in the carpark which was full of rubbish in one corner.Bed and towels did appear to be clean.

Imperial Salford Hotel
This was such a great choice. Excellent location with fine eateries next door. You would be mad not to stay here as it represents the cutting edge of value for money. Extremely quiet and excellent reception they even took our bags up to the room. We met some lovely people here who were extremely friendly. Very warm and cosy cannot wait to come back, easily the best hotel I have stayed at.

Stuck of marihuana, and have bed bug bites all over body! Do not stay here. Partner also has red bites all over body. Did not end up staying the whole night. Sue them. This is health and safety red flag

I'm not even putting 1 star on any option because it's not worthy of any stars. Stay away at all costs. The biggest dump I've ever seen. Fall asleep and your teeth will be missing in the morning if not your body parts. Absolutely disgusting. Mice droppings on quilt over on top of mould

For the price I paid I expected more. A lot more.There were holes in the wall. Dirty skirting boards. The wallpaper was peeling off. The bathroom floor was disgusting and I’m pretty sure mould was present in the bathroom. It smelt like someone was smoking in the building too.It was a shame because the place could be really nice but it seems there is no upkeep to the place and I won’t be staying there again.

The health authorities need to visit this facility it's below standards. I stayed 4 nights my room wasn't cleaned once, when I asked for a cleaning the Asian hotel receptionist said he's I needed to book cleaning the day before, where have you ever heard of booking cleaning in a hotel? The carpets in corridors are in bad state. Flies in the room as rooms are not cleaned, the rooms stink and need renovation or closure. They shouldn't be allowed to operate with such conditions it's a health.avoid this hotel unless you are only staying for a night and have a poor sense of smell.

Really dirty room. Honestly first time it happen to me. It was cheap and really close to my workplace. That's the reason of the second star.. but I think they need a huge refurbishment. Stairs, corridors, ceiling, windows.. everything is so dirty. In my room I decided to clean what was essential. But did not use shower or anything else.

After reading all the 1 star reviews, I was a bit worried about staying here.My experience here however was actually very good. The room was clean, the receptionist was polite and helpful, the bed was fairly comfortable too.For £35, I think this place is a bargain. As long as you're not expecting the 5 star hotel experience, you'll be fine.

Rooms are ok but this hotel itself looks very run down. Had numerous issues trying to get into my room due to my door being faulty. Tried to get help from staff who were more concerned with heating up their breakfast. Major delay in checking out and getting to my next destination because of this. Missed my train and had to pay £30 for an Uber. I have emailed them a complaint Sunday with no response and tried to call them 8 times today with no answer. Terrible
