Had carpets fitted in 2 bedrooms and vinyl in toilet. I have a small step in the toilet and noticed that the vinyl wasn't stuck down properly. Having showed the fitters, i was told that it just doesn't stick! I called the store, only to be told that vinyl doesn't bend so they had to cut it into 2 pieces for the toilet and that they used the strongest tape. Basically was being told there's nothing they could do about it. I also mentioned that the vinyl wasn't even cut straight and i wasn't happy with the white sealant as the vinyl is grey. On top of that, a bedroom door and the toilet door were now unable to close shut! I asked for someone to call me back. I didn't receive a call back! My partner has had to staple the vinyl down and we bought grey sealant to cover up the noticeable white. I don't recommend this store. They are quick to take your money and don't care if the customers are satisfied with the outcome. Attached are 3 pics. Two of them show how uneven the vinyl was cut and the white sealant. The first pic shows how my partner has tried to cover up their mistakes.

Leon is great! We popped in to get some advice on carpets and runners for our house. We had no idea where to start and he was really helpful! We asked tons of questions and he answered them all. Really good knowledge of all products and a very friendly person. He even stayed helping until 15 minutes after the store had closed- thanks so much Leon! We’ve ordered through Carpet Right rather than Tapi simply because of your customer service.

Very happy with the service provided by Hasan who patiently took his time to give us different options for carpets and laminated flooring and offered us a ''try test'' of the underlays available. This is third time we have used Carpetright in the last 7 years and every time we had a very pleasant experience. Many thanks.

Absolutely pleased with the service, we were in a rush trying to find a carpet for this week and the fitting as well, went to many places but none of them could do it asap but Carpetright could do it. Very grateful with Hassan we sorted it out for us.

The fitter left my doors off and refused to refit then. I had to get them refitted by someone else at extra cost. The store couldn't care less once they took my money. Raised a complaint and no action was taken.

Great service from Carpetright Portsmouth. Measurer was helpful & precise and Hassan and team super knowledgeable in store and went the extra mile. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again!
