Fit For Purpose - Sports Massage

Penny is excellent! she is highly knowledgable and an expert in her field. She is also very friendly and caring. Having suffered with acute back pain for several months, and many chiropractic visits, which only gave temporary relief, my husband was open to trying sports massage to see if it could help. Penny treated my husband, and amazingly after the very first visit, he felt an improvement immediately! He is nowPain free! I now go to Penny and she has helped me enormously too! She has an ability to get to the root of a problem and her results are outstanding. We wouldn’t go to anyone else!

Penny has a phenomenal understanding of body structure and can pin point a problem in a nano second. She helps you understand the nature of the problem and gives you the right information to tackle it. The best physio I’ve ever had.She’s really nice too!

Real help with lack of mobility, tight muscles, posture and self esteem after a hip replacement many years ago.Also help with stress related back pain .Penny has explained why I have the issues I do .How the muscles react the way they do.Every aspect has been explained In detail and she gives good advice at each session .I would recommend to anyone who has pain.When I thought it wasn’t working penny told me to hang in there.Then all of a sudden breakthrough and all the different aspects of her treatment worked and I began to be more flexible and in less pain .Thank youTracey

After a recent cycling accident, I was in a lot of pain and unable to walk unaided. Penny did an excellent job in getting me back on my feet. Sports massage works and along with the exercises I was given to do, I would say Penny cut my recovery time by a third. (based on a similar accident I had some years ago)I can’t recommend highly enough.

A few weeks ago I went to see Penny, and in just one session she has transformed my posture and how I feel. After breastfeeding my baby for a year, lots of lifting/leaning over etc, I had become so stiff, sore, felt completely hunched over, strained and had muscle pain everywhere in my back, neck and shoulders. I had a one hour sports massage and expected to need more in the future, but at the moment I don't. I feel completely renewed, and the one session seems to have done the job perfectly. Penny is warm and welcoming, and a professional, putting you at ease the whole way through. I highly recommend her services.

Penny-Marie has been a game changer for me. She explains what's going on in my body really well and has made a huge difference to an ongoing problem with my foot. After 7 years and 2 operations I was left in constant pain, unable to walk for more than about 20 mins without having to sit and rest my foot. After seeing Penny 3 times I was been pain free for weeks. It creeps in again after a while but a trip to Penny sorts it out again. She's also helping me with headaches, shoulder pain and a congenital hip defect. I feel very positive about my future physical health in her very able hands. She's helped me understand the pain mechanism and how to work with my body to improve my fitness and strength. She really knows her stuff, she has empathy for her clients and sets realistic goals that you can actually keep to. I would highly recommend her.

Excellent first visit. Penny gave me to confidence to start the couch to 5K (I used to run, pre back issues) and I have booked a second treatment. I cant say it's a pleasurable massage at the moment, but I am sure the more I go and listen to her advice my experience will improve. I can highly recommend Penny.
