I dont usually review places unless I can give five stars (my mum taught me that if you can't say anything nice you should say anything) but this place was dire.The food was hit and miss with the emphasis on miss: the calamari could have been onion rings or just circles of batter for all the texture and flavour they had. The pizza bases seemed to be pre-rolled frozen dough. Cheap ingredients prepared badly.The staff seemed more interested in shutting up shop at 9pm than asking if we wanted coffee or dessert.The prawns were well cooked in too much sauce.

Pizza quite small and greasy. Lasagna also a small portion in a big container, didn't taste great.

Great service and meals, the menu is very reasonably priced. Staff are very welcoming. We enjoyed a memorable evening.

Very nice food, very fast though felt a little rushed (we did eat quick though) three courses for two people within an hour.Not much of a selection for vegetarians, who something that's not mushroom.Lovely building, very very friendly staff!

We enjoyed a lovely family meal. The service was great and the food was delicious. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning.

When visiting relatives in the area, Vecchia Italia has been our first choice for a meal out for many years due to the consistently good food and attentive service. Our experience yesterday (Friday) was again excellent, as usual. They deserve all the praise they get.

Dishes were quite hit and miss. I had carbonara, tasted ok but was not authentic, it was swimming in cream sauce so much i had to use a spoon. One of us had calamari starter, he couldn't tell the batter from the calamari. After our mains we were ignored as they were packing up, it was about 9 so early for them. We were not offered dessert or coffee. We asked for the bill and left. I'm not local but if ever in the area I would not go back.

A surprise visit for my birthday organised by my daughter and friends. I was not disappointed. The food as usual was spot on. Gorgeous in fact. Friendly staff and still had my sparkling ice cream. I know I'm grown but still lovely. Thank you Vecchia glad to see you are back .Just a little point. Mop and bucket brought out and cleaning wasn't a good look really while customers are in. We were on the move but maybe a nod to say you are about to close.
