Vita Student Portswood House - Student Accommodation Southampton

Everything’s perfect. But please fix the air hockey table ! It’s been broken for years

I moved in to Vita student mid-January and I can only say I have been blown away thus far! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, with an upbeat and positive spirit every morning. The facilities and the rooms are outstanding, I think my room was close to perfect and likewise with the facilities. Everything is kept clean and tidy, with particular attention to the communal areas. The standard of social distancing and sanitation maintained by the team is applaudable.I have found it easy and flexible enough to continue to get time in the gym despite the additional pressures put on by the max capacity of 1 and the booking system.The weekly events are great, I have had a fantastic experience doing them and they are perfect after a long and stressful day. The kits they provide have everything you need and the content produced online has been brilliant.A special shout out to Michael and Bianca as they have been so welcoming and great to chat to on reception! But I must say that every single staff member in the building has been brilliant. I would say it is fantastic value for money!

Great facilities, but the staff goes above and beyond in customer service! One employee that stands out is Gesh, he helped me find my lost phone, always very friendly and helpful! Definitely rebooking for next year after such dedicated effort!

I am having a wonderful experience at the vita student at portswood . Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Jay is really a good manager and always ready to help others, also Carla is also very helpful and very joyful.The breakfast are served in the weekdays which are really yummy. The study and the common area is also so clean and wonderful. Thank you! I will recommend this accommodation to the new students!

Vita's staff really care about everyone's daily life. We sincerely thank Jay and Carla for dealing with everything for the residents seriously and responsibly. We also thank Monica and Ruairi who are conscientious for maintaining a good living environment and protecting everyone's safety. We also thank Jane for cleaning the room as bright as new every time.Time will pass, but we will always remember the warmth and love that Vita has given us in this year.报错 笔记

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!NEVER EVER LIVE HERE IF YOU GOT ANY OTHER CHANCE!Reception teams would break into your room without telling you or apology. Especially Monica, she will even break into your room when you are showering or using toilet. That's ridiculous and really makes me feel offended!!!!There are frequent cases of lost property and the reception teams cannot offer a reasonable solution, making me feel that the security of my property is at risk!!!Housekeeping is always not on time. And when they come to your room, they will kick you out no matter what you are doing and you can't even get the chance to tell them not to clean your room....Although it has so many drawbacks, its rents increase year by year. Up to now, tt already rents for two to three times more than other flats in Southampton, which makes absoultely no senses......IN SHORT. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

I have lived in two apartment buildings in Vita. Potswood Vita is the worst student apartment I have ever lived in. Today, my friend received such a racist note in her locker, and as usual, the receptionist downstairs was still unwilling to retrieve the complete surveillance for me. Before, I lost something and they were unwilling to call the monitoring and refused me with various reasons. A female manager wearing gold-rimmed glasses seemed to have completely forgotten that he was a service manager. She raised her voice and spoke very loudly to people every day, which made people feel very rude and uncomfortable. Regarding the breakfast provided every day, there will be service staff responsible for supervising it. We residents feel like thieves being supervised. All in all, the accommodation experience is very poor. I hope students who are interested in living here will give up their thoughts as soon as possible.

One of, if not, the best student accommodation in Southampton, compared to any other place in the area. You get an absolute spectacular studio with no need to share any amenities, with your own kitchen bathroom, desk, bed, and tv all including all the bills with a very fast internet service. The communal areas are great for hanging out and studying and meeting new people, which is at the heart of the Vita Student experience. They provide events and breakfast throughout the week with a variety every now and then. The staff are lovely and helpful and always feel like family and friend. Simply put, Vita will just feel like home.
