Premier Inn Carlisle Central North hotel

Very tired & grubby hotel. Bed was clean but room and bathroom were very grubby looking despite being cleaned. Come on Premier Inn this place needs upgrading! Feel very uncomfortable staying here tonight but no option. Awful place! Certainly will not be back here.

Room and hotel very tired. Black mould around the bath, bathroom urgently in need of a deep clean. Only one bath towel originally provided, so had to ask for another at reception. Breakfast service was slow and having ordered a vegetarian breakfast I got served bacon on the first attempt and black pudding and a meat sausage on the second - didn't have time to wait for a third attempt, so asked for a refund at reception, still waiting....... needless to say, not somewhere I would recommend or go back to.

What a lovely hotel, we were greeted with smiles and asked how our travels were pur room was clean ans the beds were so comfie the kids had a brilliant sleep and us too, we were welcomed with a big bag of sweets from the cleaning team... overall we will be returning here from now on..Dinner and breakfast is all on site.. with one paying adult kids eat free.

Nice enough and the room was fine, but the hotel was looking its age a bit. Seemed like a maze of corridors and stairs to get to the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the pub next door (not one of the usual Whitbread pubs) was ok and the service was quick.

Shocking standard for the price, stay in premier inns up and down the UK and this is the worst one. Standard rate is over a £100 and this place just doesn't reflect that, i would feel cleaner sleeping in the back of my van

Appalling Premier Inn. Very run down, rooms are not the standard premier inn style rooms shown in the photos (neither old style or new style). Bathroom was disgusting - dark, dingy and mouldy.Possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time. And they charged over £100 a night for this. Avoid!!!!!

Book in here on way back down from Scotland, the staff were nice and friendly, but the room was the worst I have ever stayed in and certainly not up to the usual premier standards.It was very dated and didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while.Paint flaking of the walls and the bathroom was dirty, found stuff under the bed and the sofa bed.There were also a lot of travellers booked in that night with campervans in the carpark it looked like they had already been drinking a lotWe really didn't feel comfortable partly because of the state of the place but mostly in case it all got out of hand with the travellers.So we found another hotel and left. Turned out to an expensive night out but better safe than sorry

Beware when booking Premier ill Carlisle there are at least 3 hotels here! We stayed here and was as usual with service and facilities, restaurant did have some technical issues but we ordered and got what we wanted. Everyone was happy to help and made our overnight stay welcome.

This is the worst Prem I've ever stayed in, and I stay in a lot. The decor is disgusting and looks like it hasn't been touched for years.The first room I had was really bad. Mould all over the sealant in the bathroom and generally disgusting. After a moan and a bit of push back from the chap at the desk, I got another room which was only slightly better. (pics are of the 2nd room I had).I felt the chap was a little off with me but I expect he gets grief all the time....It's not his fault it's a dump!At over £100 per night this place is unacceptable.I would have got a refund and found elsewhere but he said he couldn't do that.Appalling for a Prem!!!! Don't book it!!
