Walsall Post Office

Amazing facilities from currency exchange to cards for the special occasion. Service with a smile and the best help. Management have a good system for dealing with a big que and great owners. Would recommend 10/10 !!!

I went to post office in walsall today to deposit money, i am not uk citizen but came from australia for holidays and there was young girl on counter who served me named sim, she told me that i counted the money wrong and she gave me £100 back which was really appreciated as i was in hurry and am happy with the clerk service as she served me with full honesty and i can say these type of people are more valuable and worthy and reliable who serve customers with full honesty.

Got charged £36 total to update my driving license photo. Online it says post office does it for £21.50.They charged me £10 for the photos, online it states £4.50.Staff is useless, unprofessional and condescending.Place needs investigated.Avoid like the plague.

Considering this is the town’s main post office, having it hidden behind other shops crowding the entrance seems somewhat curious. However, it is well signposted both outside and inside makes it is easy to find among the jumble of other shops.

No idea why this was moved but it seems far messier than the layout at the old one. The delivery office is still there so if your attempting to pick up a parcel and do both you'll be in for a nice surprise (...a 10 minute walk up the hill for posting).No longer as assecible as it once was with the bus station next door, the post office is now the main part of the shop floor in its current location (was once BHS...). Yet who on earth decided the best place to put it would be at the back of the shop rather than the front? Its a good couple of minutes walk to get in and back out.The services seem the same as they were but nowhere near as pleasant, with less Windows and a boxed in cramped at the back feel. Opposite to how the old one was.

I was extremely pleased with the service given by a lady named Nicky, after struggling to get 2 passports for my 3 year old who has adhd and autism, and 9 year old, this was our 4th attempt after the willenhall branch did not have the patience to deal with the children and made it very difficult and uncomfortable for us. Nicky was absolutely fantastic, she got the little one sweets and calmed him down and managed to get his photo done with the first attempt. I will point out too that it was very busy and Nicki dealt with it amazing, Thankyou so much for your patience and understanding really appreciate it. Great service.

In the town center.only ever 2 main serving desks operating at any one time and always a que. Does get moving. Guess it's what you expect from most post offices. One thing that's overlooked by most is the self help machine thingy. Don't be scared to use it! A lot quicker and you can even get stamps from there too. Sometimes there is a member of staff to guide you.Good luck.

Just visited today for holiday money. Nicki behind the desk (lady with pearcings) was very knowledgeable on the travel card. Parted with 400 as I was so confident.

Worse Post Office and Members of staff. One day I can send a letter using my own stamps and the other day they telling me I cannot use them... Also waste of my 2 stamps covered with other ones which I have to pay for them... They didn't serve me properly and they rushed me because there was a long queue"... lolSummary: Terrible experience AS ALWAYS since they closed "old" Post Office which was best...."
