Lovely fish and chips and always get big portions- definitely worth the money. Sometimes a long wait on a busy night but that’s expected. Staff are always lovely and welcoming.

Poor service. Ordered the food. Stood around for over 40 minutes to then be told they’d put my bill on the completed pile and forgotten about my order.I had been watching people who had ordered after me get their food and they did not realise until I asked.No apology offered. Then she told me it was my fault for not saying anything to her sooner. So I requested a refund immediately after their attitude issue. This the server took offence at when I asked for the refund rather then wait another 40 minutes. Took even more offence when I handed back the change they’d given me as they didn’t want to part ways with their last £5 note and asked for my refund in notes as I had paid rather then be given all their change.Absolutely shocking service. No offer of anything free or even a sorry. Very arrogant female server who would not accept anything as their fault.

Had Pie and Chips from Deano’s on a Saturday night. Was busy which I always think is a good thing. Had the Chicken pie and it was amazing the best I’ve ever had from a chippy and chips were nice not greasy at all. Would highly recommend this place.

Best Chippy for miles! Good, clean oil is used which you can tell by the taste. Yes it gets busy but well worth the wait. Just moved to Millom so it’ll be our regular choice.

Very busy place which is surprising given the quality of the food, product and service. The chips were okay. The fish batter is not nice at all. The fish and chips are served on simple paper alone and can't eat it properly. Onion rings are filled with cheap batter and oil, disgusting. Service is super slow, prices are average yet food are below average. Will not be returning

Really nice little chippy with reasonable price. Tasty and freshly prepared fish & chips! CAN get really busy and there's always a queue

Quality variable, when it's good it is very good and good portion sizes but can be busy so service can be slow. Parking is awkward but is open when other places are closed, busy on Sundays. Too much stuff on the menu which slows down the time it takes to fill orders and you wait for ages. Ordering by phone doesn't always speed this up.

Wow. Best chips EVER! EVER EVER EVER. Every chip was crispy even after wrapped to take away. No steamed soggy chips. The products used must be top quality.My mum is over 80 and her favourite meal on holiday is fish and chips. She has also worked in chip shops and she said Deanos has been the best of her life!I know taste is subjective but go get a portion if you can! Just leave some for me!

Really good fish, scampi and chips from here last night. The chips were the best I've had anywhere in years and the service was quick in the shop. I might have to go back later this week before heading back down south.

Best fish and chips I've had in ages.Menu selection was good including kids food which was also a hit with our fussy 8yr old.Reasonably priced, made fresh and quick service!
