Mum was very poorly with pneumonia. Thank you to all of the staff who were amazing! They all made sure we were supported throughout the day. Always there when we needed them.

Awful service. Went to Aintree hospital A&E yesterday very early morning around 2.30pm. Because I have covid positive. After little waiting I been called by Triage. One of them staff makes me embarrassed. She opened the door for us and gave my son mask, I was already wearing mask. Based on my health I couldn’t walk properly and was losing balance. So I tried to hold side of desk. One of them staff raised her voice on me saying “ DONOT TOUCH ANYTHING PLEASE”. The other two staffs was fine. When we were leaving the room, the same staff opened the door for us but the gesture she made was rude.Is that the way they treat with people who have covid. And then 6 hours waiting. There wasn’t any doctors. Doctors came around 8am.What a shame. It’s A&E and no doctors for patients. Very slow service.

Awful. Took my father today for appointment. Bare in mind my father struggles to walk. Immidately got told to calm down? Even tho i explained my father cannot walk all around. Awful security who lacks empathy and can let others past who don't need aid.

Horrendous experience! Total lack of communication between staff and patients and different departments. We arrived at 9.20pm on 28th Sept with a suspected blood clot in my partners leg, has an ECG and blood test within 2hours of arrival and we were told we’d have results within 2 hours. We actually waited 12 hours before being seen!!After the results were confirmed as being elevated (probable blood clot) we were then referred for an immediate scan. During the scan we were told that only the upper leg could be scanned even though the area in question (where all pain and swelling was) was in the calf! We have since found out that this is complete nonsense as another hospital scanned the calf!! (More incompetence from another department) After a further 5 hours (17 hours total) we had the scan results and the Dr who saw us (seemed very uninterested and had not an ounce of empathy) told us that this was simply an infection (cellulitis) and gave us a course of antibiotics. We were suspicious as there was no sign of infection (no severe swelling redness, fever) and the blood test didn’t flag up any infection markers. My partner started on the antibiotics none the less as the so called professional Dr had called it. These made her severely ill and she struggled to eat the side effects (still there now after over a week)Growing concerned that we’d had the wrong diagnosis we went to see the GP who told us to stop the antibiotics immediately and referee is to the DVT Clinic in Ormskirk hospital. After assessment and further scans of the affected area of the leg (something the so called professionals in Fazakerley ultrasound department said couldn’t be done) they confirmed that this was in-fact a 15cm blood clot and put her on blood thinners immediately!!We will never be returning to Fazakerley hospital and will be raising a formal complaint in the near future

Awful, people eating food on the floor, dirty, police everywhere. Place smelt really bad, playing music loudly when patients are feeling ill I feel this was an effort to drive people out. I took my partner to a different a and e which was at least clean. This was a weekday so I dread to think what the weekend is like

Went to A&E twice this weekend due to having a horrible ear infection in both ears. The pain was excruciating, I couldn't eat and so I thought I'd better get checked out. My first visit was great, no complaints. I got seen fairly quickly, the doctor said I had mastoditis, prescribed antibiotics and told me to come back if it gets worse. It got a lot worse on Sunday so I came back, I could barely function. The receptionist was very empathic and made sure I'd get seen straight away. The head nurse was very dismissive however, made me feel unwelcomed and told my pregnant friend who accompanied me to get out of her way. The other nurse shoved the thermometer into my ear that made me squeek in pain as my ears were in so much pain already. They then sent me to minors where I was made to wait for 2.5h to get seen my the doctor. The doctor was also very dismissive and basically told me that I had external ear infection (a different infection to what the previous doctor said) and that I had no business being in the A&E. He told me to just keep using the antibiotics and hope it'll go away. I wasted hours of my time, I was treated like an imposter and I left in more pain than I was in when I arrived. Disappointing.
