Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Rock

Bought the luxury fish pie. Not sure what part was luxury. 80% potato. A sprinkling of salmon. 2 mini prawns. A speckle of eggs yolk. Very dry. Very disappointing.

Loads of freshly baked products. We got 12 frozen pasties to take home and they offer Gluten free ones either frozen or hot if you call up and order 1.5hrs beforehand

Meat pasty had almost literally no meat in it - it was 98% potato. Don’t understand all the great reviews - maybe I just got a bad one

I am Cornish, have lived in New Zealand for the past 16 years. Home visiting family and friends...Popped in for a very much needed pasty....as always...not disappointed!Also loved the selection of healthy options! A real surprise and great to see!

Had probably the best Cornish pastie I've ever tasted. I choose the small steak. It was full of meat, potatoes and carrots and seasoned very well.I also purchased a couple of cakes.Very good value!

The staff are always really lovely, even when super busy. Also, so kind to my Dad when he pops in. Thoughtful and caring. Always great place to stop for drink and nourishment on a cycle

Had 2 pasties that were fairly good, however we also ordered pannini's and one in particular was probably the worst attempt at a sandwich I have ever had - missing a key listed ingredient... Cheese.I would have preferred not to leave a bad review here and would have just returned to give them a chance to rectify. Unfortunately I took my pannini to go and the bakery was closed once I had realised - obviously this isn't the bakery's fault.Accepting human error and the missing ingredient (was supposed to be chicken, cheese and chilli jam), I'm not sure how they cooked the pannini, the top was like a giant stale crouton and the bottom was soggy. My partners pannini was the same in this respect. + dry chicken and not so good chilli jam.Not great for a £5 sandwich in my opinion.

We stopped in to grab a pasty from here and they were delicious. The only suggestion would be to have a menu closer to the door as the queue was quite long and there would have been plenty of time to decide what to eat instead of rushing at the counter once the menu was in sight.

Amazing bacon egg and sausage baguette. We came back a 2nd time to pick up some bits for lunch. Excellent food and staff. Eating in space is quite limited though so bear this in mind
